Fun fact: Those RC cars from the first clip aren't just your run-of-the-mill Walmart toys. I can't tell exactly what chassis they're using, but those are hobby-grade models. Guessing by the antenna tubes, though, they're probably Tamiya TB-01s. Transmitters appear to be old Futaba 2PLs, which are basic computerized transmitters.

Seriously, the way Joe Flanigan and David Hewlett were "driving", they'd probably manage to spin out a stock TB-01 (an AWD model with a cheap brushed motor) with foam tires on carpet. Also, another fun fact: "Tri-cell LiPoly" is actually not just technobabble. McKay's referring to a 3S soft-case lithium-cobalt battery commonly used on hobby-grade models. Although it's pretty obvious his car DOESN'T have that based on the speed it's travelling at. Additionally, you may have noticed that Sheppard's car has a Dodge Stratus body, which is not known for being a high-performance car. In the mid-2000s before Protoform came out with their 190mm and 200mm D9 body, the Protoform Dodge Stratus actually had the best balance of downforce and drag reduction out of any of the available 1/10th scale touring car bodies, and as such the Stratus became THE iconic car of ROAR and IFMAR RC touring car events.

Yeah and I wish that he could've and the show had kept running with more years and a lot more episodes. But, unfortunately, the exchange rate between U.S and Canadian currencies was quite adversely affected by the financial crises that developed at the time. Otherwise we'd have many more episodes of the show to enjoy because he was committed to the series and pretty much had a deal at the verge of being concluded and the paperwork inked.

He's still hilarious though, and his name giving is just the start of the WDC (wraith defenders club) to give names to all wraith to keep them better apart instead of "that one wraith in that one episode"

I just watched part 1 and 2 and came to realise that you should just drop a link to the DVDs as the entire series is "the best of" :-)

Because the ratings plummeted, Unfortunately due to the first writers strike many of the stories was the same as SG1, Just set in the Pegasus galaxy instead of the Milky way.

The actual answer was the belief the television was changing direction in the way of more over-arching stories. Hence stargate universe. That and the MGN went bankrupt due to the 2008 crash. They were able to come back due shares they had in the hobbit movies but this was more bad than good as the guy who played Sheperd was on track to get the rights to the shows but the revival of MGN meant new management who planned to reboot the whole thing and discard everything since the movie (Which is the most brain dead decision I think I have ever heard since saying no one was interested in female lead superhero movies as the stargate franchise was not popular because of the movie). This was done alongside the Independence Day sequel. Because the Independence Day sequel was so bad they scraped the idea of a stargate sequel (Thank Fuck). It looks like there are plans to bring the series back when writers starting out a new plan. However, the small problem of COVID has put it on hold for the time being.

My favorite episode so far is season 5, episode 7, Whispers. An all SG female team investigates one of Micheal's labs where genetic alter monsters spew out fog and hunts but were blind w/ hearing sensitivity. The female team was with known actors: Nicole De Boer (Star Trek DS9), Christina Cox (Riddick), Janina Gavarkar (Star War Battlefront 2), and Leela Savasta (Battlestar Galactica).

Military training always teaches center mass shooting, not only that but the show explains that the brain in the head isn't a guaranteed kill on wraiths as they can regenerate, the only surefire way to kill them is a heart shot. It's part of why they are (supposed to be) scary.

Should ask why the P90 which supposedly can cut someone in half - as advertised by the Sam Carter P90 sales pitch and Ford show... but they never really do that to a Wraith or Jaffa.

The best of star gate Atlantis was the 3 session after Dr weir died the show lost 65 % the personally I love that show it was fun ,entertaining very good series.

As mister Manu has stated he was, many of the extras where and are the same guys from SG1 because it was filmed in Vancouver where the Thespian (Actors/Actresses) pool is and probably will be very limited (at least for a while, 2020)

Very likely. Like many other long time franchises, Stargate frequently re-utilized actors, even in the same series. For example, Todd the Wraith was also one of Teyla compatriots. Many different wraith queens were played by, i think two actresses.

Zelenka was awesome but didn't really have much to do in the show as they had Rodney be the genuis even though (IMO) he was more stupid than Zelenka. I only think that way because Zelenka has caution where as Rodney doesn't, basically Zelenka acts like a true scientist that Rodney just acts like an arrogant asshole.

Nun very little sense all chopped up that way ...
