Skies visited Diamond Aircraft's London, Ontario, facility to check out its special mission flagship, the DA62 MPP. The aircraft recently departed on a North American demo tour, configured specifically for airborne law enforcement.

Excellent video. Hopefully, the Diamond DA62 MPP (Multipurpose Platform) makes the trip to EAA AirVenture Oshkosh in 2023.
lets get some of these down to the U.S./Mex. border!
I was working for a company in the 00s that used a DA52 as one of these for the MOD. I think without them proving this platform, this wouldn't exist.

Would've been a DA-42 as the DA-52 didn't fly until 2012, And was that 39SQN as I'm sure they used one for ISTAR?

Which engine they will use after mercedes benz shuts down the diesel production before 2025?

None as the engine is manufactured by Austro Engine, a subsidiary of Diamond Aircraft Industries.

@@jorbedo Most likely they will keep it going for DA to use or transfer it over too Austro engines.
