This is the best description I've seen on KZread so far. There's sooooooo much to remember with this one. Thank you.
Single best explanation of Haber on youtube, and the story at the end was fantastic for practice and understanding.
Finally this is explained slowly and repetitively so that it sticks in my brain! In addition to the way you enunciate your words, the use of colors, pictures, videos and background music I find extremely helpful. ☺ Thank you!!
You have the most comprehensive teaching ever thank you so much
The teaching was very clear and story very helpful.
I’ve been studying Spanish for a while now and realise I hadn’t really understood the verb haber. I’ve also just cottoned to linking hay/habia/hubo! It’s so simple this way!
You did "crush it" ! Thank you.
Maria is Caliente ❤
The Best description of haber. Thank you for breaking it down Barney style like purple dinosaur.
i was completely with you even translating without looking at the translations . UNTIL the planet example Hay Que is a bit confusing
Estoy aprendiendo sobre español.
Maria explains things very well. She explains in a very concise way and easy to understand and follow.
This was an Excellent video and helped me understand haber . Muchas Gracias 😊
¡ Gracias Maria ! Está fue una lección útil.
Your description of the verb did help immensely as I at least understand its many uses now. I also realised I'm gonna need a heck of a lot more study on this one and the parts of speech as a whole to fully understand. Thus is the joy of having been abysmal at grammar in school.
You crushed it!
She is the best teacher that I have experienced on utube in 10 years. Thanks sooooo much. 😊
Haber is a difficult verb to understand and conjugate correctly. This video was extremely helpful. Muchas gracias Maria!

I agree, this is the best explanation I have seen. I thought I understood Haber, now I know I do. Thank you.
What did you say at the end? Love your lessons, I'm learning from them and trying harder to speak more in public!
The best explanation of haber yet!😊
In English I would’ve had a haaaard time understanding “Haber” but I know some German as well, and in German it’s similar! Es gibt, a direct translation is “it gives.” Both use impersonal “action/active” verbs where in English we use “there” followed by the etherial “to be.” We just love putting existential dread into every non-sentient thing; That iron bench over there simply is and always will be. Deep English, deep. 🤣 Who would’ve thought German would help me learn Spanish! Gracias for the explanation! I know for German’s case “es gibt” comes from “he gives/Er gibt” that came from “God gives us” but in old German.
excellent!
Wow...... you have described very well of Haber verb. You are really great Spanish tutor in my views......keep it up
Indeed, you did crush it with this video. However, how would you say that in Spanish?
Thus was a great lesson. I have been having trouble with the haber conjugations.
Thank you for this lesson. What is the name of that guitar tune that was playing near the beginning?

Which is correct when talking about what you have to do? Example: 'Tenia que trabajar' or 'Habia que trabajar' Gracias Maria! So glad you made this Haber video it was much needed.
@LingoMasterySpanish
2 жыл бұрын
Hey there! Great question. They’re both correct. It’s just that with “haber” is more impersonal. If you say “tenía que trabajar” you are saying “I had to work”. If you say “había que trabajar” you are expressing that it was a work day in the general sense, but it’s implicit you’re talking about yourself. I hope I made myself clear lol 🤞🏽

Amaaazing! Thank you so much for this video!! Una pregunta si puedo.. Ayer hubo un accidente por mi casa - translates to there was an accident near my house, my question is why the use of 'por' here? and not 'cerca'
@LingoMasterySpanish
Жыл бұрын
In that context "por" indicates that is close too :) you can use both!
In the end of the video why there is "había" in "porque había distintas especies" and not "habían"? Ellos, no?
i like the word hidden without pronouncing the h
Excellent video, wish there was more time to write down the sentences or a way to print a worksheet.

Tener means to have as in possession. Yo tengo un libro. - I have a book. Haber has nothing to do with possession. Ya he comido - I've already eaten or I have already eaten.
Haber iguales hacer?
❤
Definitivamente lo has aplastaste! Voy a ver esto hasta que lo entienda haber completamente!
crashed it!
There was two parties last night. last night is not specific, what time last night? Why it's hubo and not habia here, who knows. Wish you chose some better examples. Still confused.
3:50 😟
i use hay que as "one must" Hay que tomar la basura cada dia - one must take the trash every day
haben in German, har in Swedish
So natives said all I needed was a Spanish girlfriend, tu es mi novia ahora jajaja
I don’t even know these tenses in English
Por favor music is way to loud !!! When you are learning a new language the music is too distracting
