「ザ・ベンチャーズ」のアンコール曲「キャラバン」の演奏で必ず 「メル・テーラー氏」と「ボブ・ボーグル氏」によるベース・ギターをスティックで 叩くのが当たり前でした。「メル・テーラー氏」の死去の為、この演奏は無くなってしまい 非常に残念です。「メル・テーラー氏」だけでは無く「ボブ・ボーグル氏」「ノーキー・エドワーズ氏」 「ジェリー・マギー氏」までお亡くなり、名前だけの「ザ・ベンチャーズ」になってしまい コンサートの葉書が来ますが、申し訳ありませんがとても行く気にはなれません。 これから「ザ・ベンチャーズ」はどうなって行くのか、気掛かりですよ。
