The absolute magical sizzle of Lennon and McCartney performing on stage and singing together. I don't think anything could ever top that. Most bands have one frontman. The Cars band also had two frontmen taking turns singing lead with rhythm guitarist Ric Ocasek & bassist Benjamin Orr. Ric was always the principal songwriter though, they’re a fantastic band too. Lots of people think/thought that Ric sang lead all the time, nope, the major-hottie-man Ben Orr shared that title and Ric was quoted as saying “he gave the “best” songs to Ben.” I love bands with two dual lead singers and LOVE the Beatles!

The Beatles that changed the sound of music 🎵 because when they appeared on the music scene music wouldn’t be the same. The 60’s didn’t actually start until the Beatles appeared on the music scene. They actually defined the 60’s as soon as they would play their music because their music 🎶 was considered out of this time. Their concerts were spectacular and always sold out and the 1st Rock group to play in stadiums and the 1st group to be known as a Super group. Not only were they controversial but were the envy of other entertainers. The Beatles were a group that was meant to be and there won’t be a group like them. This music 🎼 clip is actually wonderful and more will be found and pulled out of the vaults to be shared with others. Thanks for sharing this with us.

Singing the harmonies into a single Mic was real showmanship. It made for really good staging. All those thousands of hours that they spent playing in the clubs in Hamburg made it flow.

Pretty darned cool. Paul's voice was ragged in the 2nd number. I am still amazed at the guitar part John played for "I Feel Fine" (or first song). It's actually not that easy to play. @@jaelge There's a part where the riff comes in right after George's solo where John has his back turned, and I'd REALLY love to see his right hand about there. When he turns around, it does sort of look like he's getting after the riff, but when I tried playing it years ago, I think I had tried finger picking instead of using a pick. Jeez, this is TOP! Cheers, thanks.
Amazing how these lads all came together each with their own voice and ability , their harmonies were Outstanding so professional and just a joy to behold
So good to see live footage from what was arguably their greatest two years of song production, 64-65; the double-A single "Day Tripper / We Can Work It Out" also came out at that time.
What? No encore?! Allow me to join in the love fest of adoration for these four incredible human beings. What was so great about THIS footage too was that the screaming was canceled out and you could actually hear THEM! I've always wanted the experience of seeing the Beatles perform live and this was by far the closest it's ever come. Thank you for sharing this BeatleAlex!
Good to see this oldie, love the fab four, cheers !!
This is some amazing footage!
So wonderfully marvelously joyful ✨ There’s a reason they’ll always be the toppermost of the poppermost. 🎉
Saw the Beatles live in 1963 peace and love
There harmonies were superb especially with the old mics and amps ! And Macca still playing now almost 60 years later to much larger audiences WOW !!!

Those mics and amps are still in use, fetch a premium price, and sound as good or better than any you can buy today;-)

What mics are they using? Shures?
@hepphepps8356

@@thomasfoss9963 They are AKG D19s. Sounds better than the Shures in every way, but they are not as solid. Extremely easy to break the coil wire, and it is virtually unrepairable. In the studio they used them for Ringo’s drums on most of the records (much more than the more famous ST&C/Coles 4038)

@@hepphepps8356 Gotcha-- Thanks for the technical info-- We are still using the SM57s and 58s--

@@thomasfoss9963 It is a reason those won out, they absolutely sound decent, can be used as a hammer, is cheap and has great markering;-)
It’s so great to see them with such joy!
Just so sad we couldn't have seen tape like this back in 65 when we were 13. Living in flyover country, all we had was daily newspaper and 3 tv channels. Always scoured all for any news of the beatles...entire family sat and watched ed sullivan on sun nt to see if they might be on!!
Супер!!!❤❤❤ В детстве мечтал увидеть их концерт!!!
😢what is the fantastic video this one have a wonderful weekend also Saturday is my friends birthday also my friend likes the beatles also may the fourth be with you ❤❤❤❤❤❤😢😢😢😊😊😊😊😊😊
Ringo's smile is just angelic
Great post! They seem to be succeeding despite the technology. Proof, if it were needed, of their sublime talent.
Still love these guys iam 73 love ❤️ there music and watch the videos
How the voices blend as one is remarkable. Good Lord..they were and are special .
Great audio... awesome !!!
Paul's vocal on Long Tall Sally: FANTASTIC!!!!!!!!!!!
My 7 year old granddaughter loves the Beatles! (Smart kid!) When I think back to my first after school job at a small music store in 1974, the owner offered to sell me a red 1965 Rickenbacker 365. I didn't want it because it was "old".😖 🙄I was a freshman in high school and didn't know any better. I did end up buying a 76 Les Paul.

It’s to bad that nobody had the cajonies to tell the young lasses to have a nice cup😁 great to see, thanks for posting!
Awesome. The renaissance of music 🎶
Paul McCartney is happy to entertain the audience. He has found his lifetime destiny and is performing still live in his 80ies. How blessed he is with his gift and shares it with us.
It just doesn't get old does it? Technically imperfect though it is, they still transcend the limits of creativity, sound and energy. I wonder how many millions of people are made happy listening to this.
Love all the chewing gum and how happy they look. John particularly, bopping around and smiling.
Talk about raw and utterly fantastic!
Their live performance were so good, considering the small equipment they had at that time! Great musicians 👍My favorite band forever ❤️🎶
Muchas gracias por compartir

Excellent quality!
I'm 71 years old and I still get inyo them as much as I did then. They gave us rock 'n roll, no one else did. Including that jealous elvis.
