It's been a privilege to watch this series grow since the beginning. Watching Daria grow as an animator and story teller.

God what a lovely little series this was. I remember watching the night a while ago before I ever heard of Hazbin or Viv's work, and I loved all the lovely animations, music, characters, colours and so much more. This series is 10/10 for me, and a wonderful time for any person wanting to watch a lovely little series.

This series has been with me for years, and i love the duo. (I like how Missi clould have just left after episode 1 but no, she wanted to bring the guy back to life to say “im the captain now” and goes out of her way to get revenge omg that is so petty and amaizng i frikin love how competitive these 2 r!

While I didn't ship Duke and Missi, i like how they are not ancommon couple. Both of them are crazy and that shows in their interactions

Imagine if Aurelio Voltaire himself agrees to voice Duke, it would be a masterpiece!

Ooh, like an original song made just for this show?

Vampair is one of my favourite show. Daria is such a great role model and the story is just great and unique. The songs really fit the characters and the animation is astounding. Chupando is pretty catchy too. Because of Daria and Vampair I found my love for vampire's again. I was so happy when "Raised by Bats" came out because I already loved that song from Voltaire. The funny thing is it aired a week before I went to Dance of the Vampires for the first time. I was so hyped up.

One of the best parts is Voltaire, the main artist used for Duke's songs, seems to be fully aware of Daria's works and seems to have given his blessing.

(I know its been 3 months since you've posted this sry-) I think people think he tried to grape her is because of him tormenting her and in the animation it looks more like he want's to "do things" to her wether or not she consents to those acts. But me personally I don't like duke for reasons but I don't think he wanted to grape her, but I'm not 100% sure and it's been years since I watched the first episode of season 1

during the episode stuck with you much time has actually passed since the ballroom dance and it is implied by them that they got married

I remember following Daira since her early days on Devainart (She's still there) and her work was a huge inspiration for me wanting to make my own indie animated series.

Gosh!Finally somebody talks about her!I loved her series Vampires for long time and too collab with her friend who making Threnody!Is just fascinating like one person can do something so amazing

I remember when it was just the first three songs and I would wait for the next part to come out but now it's this and that's wonderful❤❤

The animation was so juicy it got the attention of the singer himself that did "The Night" (Aurelio Voltaire). And Voltaire even mentioned Daria. And there was an artwork of him in the 3rd Episode (6:04 - Truly a Voltaire spectacle).

Love this series so much it's so funny and cute.

This was a classic for me. Nice to be reminded of it.

It is so wonderful to hear you talk about this series! I have been a fan of Daria Cohen's Vampair series and Mina Rose's Threnody series for SO long. Quality KZread content ! :)

As someone else who was also put off by the ending of Stuck with You, I look toward moments like in Raised by Bats when Missi gets super protective of the Anger cane (that's its actual name according to Missmi's Threnody sibling series) as evidence that things aren't all as copasetic between them as Stuck with You's ending makes it seem. I think The Showdown proved that if they were to continue fighting each other, it would only lead to their mutual destruction, so Stuck with You shows their attempt to . . . Share? Cohabitate? As much fun as it is to see them work together (i.e. Raised by Bats and Chupando) I've never really shipped them. That's in large part due to an art piece Daria put out some time ago that really hammers home the power disparity between them. At their best they might be equals, but Duke's power is innate (bitten by a real vampire) while Missi's is conditional (only so long as she has Anger), and the art piece shows what could happen should Missi ever get too comfortable around the Duke. I dunno, I think the entire point of the "romance" is supposed to be like a tom and jerry situation, or at least the theory that Tom and Jerry don't actually hate each other. Basically, the story goes that the two don't actually hate each other, they just like to fuck with one another and that's the back and forth. Like Tom doesn't actually want Jerry to die or to leave and vice versa. BUT if Tom doesn't chase down Jerry, then he'll be replaced or even killed, if you look at a couple of episodes. Tom and Jerry are more rivals in wits than they are enemies, imo. I feel the same way about Duke and Melissa/Missi, and going through Daria's speed paints, I jsut feel even more assured that Duke and Missi's dynamic is quite a bit like Tom and Jerry's. They started out hating each other, became rivals, and now are coexisting together with some romantic subtext. If you look into raised by bats, and season 2 and some other things Daria did with Missi, they were both outcasts, or at least felt that way. Now they're vampire outcasts. I think it's going to boil to the point where the two realize that there's really no one else for them. And i dunno, I'm also of the opinion that not every relationship in media needs to be peachy and perfect with sunshine and rainbows. If you took away their crazy escapades, would Duke and Missi still be as entertaining as they are?

Watch the First episode. Look what she came there to read. I think she had romanticized vampires, which Duke, who frankly has little experience with peers is supposed to have misinterpreted her interest. I think their humanity could like each other (at least platonically, if not romantically) but their humanities would hate/fear their vampire personalities and perhaps vice versus. That is the source of their love/hate relationship.

I love daria. I've been following her for a long time. I'm always excited to see what she makes

It's amazing seeing the creativity of KZread show creators. If they were picked up by a film studio they could potentially create better projects with their wider budgets and time frames to write stories. The only issue would be preventing their stories from being corrupted by what's "safe" and "loved" for the audiences as defined by the studios.

But she really did a grate job on animating the show. I remember I first time watched it during 2022 summer and it was fun.

This series felt more like if hotel transylvania was a brodway musical with some changes here and there.

I can't even imagine him appearing in the series of Hazbin Hotel and Helluva Boss vampire characters.

I am starting to identify with Missi! Back when she was Melissa she wanted a cat all her life! But as a vampire named Missi she finally got her wish come true! And I believe she had her issues with her elder sister Vanessa not to mention her parents who forbade her from having a cat! And when Duke was just a little boy I think he had Daddy issues and I don't blame him for losing his mother! Because I lost my Mom too! After that episode dead mom I can't wait to see what the next episode is! I wonder if Duke and Missi would become parents of an orphan girl who was into vampires! And that little girl would be named after the creator of vampair Daria! And one of the episodes would be called Daria darling! And they would become a wonderful family of vampires! Won't that be cool or what?
