Mate I remember finding the neighbours from the beginning bundle in an oppie for $10 volumes 1-4 plus an extra volume 4 missing a disc. I went on to sell volumes 1-4 within 24 hours to the UK for $1999.95 it's come down quite a bit! The double up of no. 4 sat for a while but I think I got around $300 plus postage for it. Missing disc one to it and it still sold!

I loved those early years of Neighbors..I use to be addicted to that show in my younger days lol..I actually sold one of those DVDs - Volume 1 from that era with Kylie Minogue in it for $115 (paid $1 for it at op shop)..it sold within days of listing it..and I was very tempted to keep it to watch first.

Cheers for the informative video. Will definitely be keeping a lookout for these in the thrift. I also ended up selling a rare dvd last week for $250 which was my biggest sale yet! There’s definitely some money to be made with DVD’s.

Picked up 23 of 26 seasons of The Bill recently for $100 total! Sold nearly half of them so far, all for around $100 a piece! Great video as always mate!

hmmmm I've got seasons 1-20 of The Simpsons (still brand new and sealed) in my To Watch pile. To keep or to sell? Some other DVDs for people to be on the lookout for would be any WWF/WWE from the late '90s up until 2002... then sell them to me really cheap for my collection haha If you can find them cheap, there's some decent profit to be made on them. Really great, informative video - I knew about the Baywatch ones, but I'll definitely be keeping an eye out for those other titles now!

Sullivan’s has always been hard to find! Selling only on TV by Crawford Productions for $$$’s! So it’s likely to pop up in op shops when the kids clean out their Mum’s and Dad’s homes after they are gone! Maybe even garage sales… Baywatch, now that’s a surprise…used to sell ‘NEW’ DVD’s 📀 on EBay 2005 - 2011 and they went for low $’s then! How times change! Would be interesting to do a similar video on Kids TV Shows. They were always a solid sale item for me! Great work 🎉😂❤😊

Good to know these. I think in the coming years there are a few more classic Australian dramas that will make this list including A Country Practice, Seachange and Water Rats. For non-Australian shows I predict Farscape will become big as well.

ACP has been a BOLO for many years. Used to buy from Big W for $12 and sell some (1 of 2) seasons for $150, per part, in 2008/2009. One ebayer sent me a message berating me for doing this! My reply…not everyone has access to a Big W 🤣🤣🤣 Farscape (all seasons, I think) DVD’s I saw recently in a local opp for $4 per season! Tempting but, I’m decluttering not reselling 😉 but I couldn’t resist a recent remastered version of Pride & Prejudice (BBC version) for my downsized DVD 📀 collection 🤣

Hey Matty... Love this sort of Video. I've made a list to watc out for!!! Just a heads up, the Sullivans is still available brand new direct from Crawfords (who produced the show). They sell them for $59.95 per volume with Volume 23 a bonus with 22. That's a total of about $1320 (plus post). It shows you can really get top dollar when it's seen as rare 🙂

Thanks Matt and people wonder why I collect so many movies when streaming is available.

While it doesn't include Baywatch Nights, there actually is a region free blu-ray release of Baywatch that has the first 9 seasons, as well as the "Hawaii" spin-off. It's pretty solid and not too expensive.

Lol Matt that was my sons favorite show too ( DragonBallZ). He even carried around that plastic character for years . Shocking to see how much some of those DVD’s go for

About 20 Prisoner Cell Block H listed but no movement. Sold the rate ones so I better recomp those in the new year. Hope to find some of those & relive the thrill of the hunt! 👍🏻

Just found both seasons of Baywatch Hawaii in my death pile and I have blue heelers to list too

Got all of the Simpsons season’s. Would never sell it, love the show. So surprised by the value of them all as a whole. Especially for seasons 18 & 19 alone, remember when they were only around $20-$25 when first released.

These are out there - this year got a few prisoner series and the sullivans, see simpsons all the time so might try to complete a set although it sounds like later ones are scarce. I reckon you should do a video on dvd movies, not series, that would be interesting as well.

Anime is so great to sell plus I love it not surprised to see a lot of them on this list

Mate I worked in landfill and seen most of these dvds come in but didn't think of taking them home just ran them over with the dozer LOL kicking myself now 😕

It’s wild in the streaming age that people still use/collect DVDs.

I bought several A Country practice when my local small town Salvos was having a .50c per Dvd case sale (so if there were 10 dvd's inside - only 50c). Got quite a few, can't even remember what they are - still in the box ha ha oops

I seen some seasons of The Bill at the Salvo's the other day, I left them behind. When I've found Pokémon in decent condition, I've passed them on to the friends kids.

Season 20 was released on DVD (not just blu-ray) I have all the seasons, plus doubles unopened 2 3 4 & 8

The Hunter x Hunter set you were talking about was the 1999 series, then you mentioned 148eps, that is the newer 2011 series! Also I have an extremely rare Anime set, Blood+, there's 2 parts to this series, part 1 is easier to find, but still rare, but part 2, my god part 2 is the rarest Anine and dvd set I have in my collection, I paid almost $300 for it a few months ago, trust me you'll probably never come across it!
