Thankyou for this video. I like that the information given & technique shown are very simple. When people are feeling stressed & ill they need nice, relaxing, simple, ways to help themselves, shown in a calm, relaxed way as in this example. I now feel I can do this technique immediately, without having to seek more information or struggle with anything difficult. Peace be with you.

Hello Sir ,thanks for very impressing video . Whether the low ejection fraction of heart ( low pumping of heart ) accompanied by high pulse rate is due to vagus nerve disorder ? If it is so , how to correct it . Sir , whether rubbing the soft palate with thumb may tone up the vagus nerve ?

This is interesting! I have a question: I sometimes get this awful cramp that goes up my neck behind my ear into my head and it’s very painful and last a minute or two where I can barely move and it’s extreme pain in the back of my head; is this the vagus nerve? Why does this happen? Thanks!

The freeze response isn't mentioned by you but is how the vagus malfunction is showing up for me, and very much about my response to male behaviour in my life. I think the freeze response of the vagus in victims of rape is important to mention by you guys as they might not fly or fight but freeze and then they might be told they consented?

Is the breathing in and out from the nose or breathing in from nose and breathing out from the mouth? Thanks, Max T.

Either way is fine. Initially the breathing in can be from the nose and out from the mouth, but once you'll get used to the breathing in and out that way it can all be through the nose. You also want to keep your tongue up at the roof of your mouth and behind your front teeth while doing it, to keep the energy flow properly.

Dr. Chopra - I was prescribed a benzodiazepine for sleep several years ago without being told by my doctor that they are highly addictive. I am in the process of tapering off, but I am having extreme anxiety and my sympathetic nervous system is always in fight or flight at the slightest provocation. I have had such a difficult time that I have already taken two years only to reduce by half my original dose. The chronic stress to my body has caused me to develop high blood pressure, high cholesterol and now skin cancer, which my doctors can’t even remove surgically because I panic and my BP goes sky high, so I have decided to heal it myself now. Anyway, my question is can regular calming of the vagus Nerve help calm my brain even though During withdrawal, the brain has no gaba receptors Because the benzos caused them to become downregulated. Is it possible to use meditation, breathing, yoga, etc. to eliminate the constant fight or flight in my body even with no gaba receptors to chemically calm the amygdala? I am not alone in this terrible situation. There are thousands and thousands of people in my situation. We need help. No one seems to know how to help us. Thank you for any help you can give.

Hi Robin, I know your pain, I cold turkeyed from benzos 18 months ago and still suffer terribly. Meditation, breathing and yoga have helped me massively through this process, they do not make the symptoms go away per se but help in how I cope with them and all the fear and stress that is ever present. Good luck with your taper, I hope you feel better soon

big pharma knows how much trouble benzos create...took me 2 years to get off the damn things ....still my nervous system is shot...i'm trying to calm myself with vagus nerve work ... breathing ... takes a long time to recover fully, if ever you do, apparently. i went to another doctor to wean off and he shook my hand when i finished ...was amazed...said people usually find it to difficult to stop taking benzos ...... good luck - you can do it ...

You listed all the organs that the Vegas Nerve connects to and your voice sounded like you meant that was a complete list. Is it? Does it not include the sexual organs of male and female, also the bladder? Any other organs? Skin?
