To be fair, a lot of them aren’t really related. The Rock isn’t related by blood to any other Samoan wrestlers (except his own daughter in NXT). But the different families got close via wrestling over the years and essentially pretend to be relatives now.

I think this must be true of every island community. As a kid in Ireland, literally the entire town would all be my cousin somehow. I.e, your parent’s first cousins are on equal footing as your parents, therefore they would have seniority over you as an aunt or uncle would.

Technically, yes. But depending on age difference, you could call your Second Cousin Uncle. I technically could to a lot of mine given the age differences, but we don't. We all call each other "cuz." Or just by name without relation title. However, my cousins' kids all call me Uncle. Really, relation title is all about age and respect.
