7:14 daddy bigbucks is actually a nickname! although i can’t imagine asking to be called that… (honestly idk which one is weirder) anyways his real name is Luthor L. Bigbucks II. We get a few hints in-game towards that, for example, the document Daddy signs at the end of the game mentions his name is “L. L. Bigbucks” (it’s visible in the video at 39:11 ), and Mambo Loa saying that Luthor “carried his father’s big name.” But the real reason why we know that is because Luthor specifically is referred to as “Luthor L. Bigbucks III” in the official manual for the GBA version, the prima guide, in old DS screenshots, and a few other places. weirdly canon for something that never actually shows up in any of the games. anyways!!! thank you for blessing us with an hour long urbz video. i smiled the whole way through (legit. my face hurts now😢).

Just a bit of trivia about the DS version, it's one launch titles for the Nintendo DS although the European version was released later. Unlike the GBA version, the US and Japanese DS version doesn't have a language option whereas the European version does. As for anyone who's played the game, Running of the Law is the hardest mission especially if you're not a Richie (who has a chamber that fills all motives) and/or haven't socialized a lot. Running anywhere will send you to jail which includes the rooftops, tunnel, Bayou and even the Genie Lamp. The main difficulty is needing to get 40 (GBA) or 30 (DS) Popularity which could make it a long mission if a player didn't Socialize much and the player likely won't know what the Popularity system is unless they also played Bustin' Out. As for the Rep Group, the Artsies is the hardest given the game requires building a positive relationship with Polly, but you must negative relationship to earn a point though you could lower her relationship after the goal in Back to the Drawing Board is completed. The 100 piles of trash can be impossible to complete if you sell the trash before Roxanna gives you the goal. At 24:35 after you talk to Lloyd, it's possible to "socialize" with him if you press A when he's about to disappear. Attempting to use a social will freeze the game. I believe the game crashes since players aren't supposed to socialize with Lloyd his data wasn't coded in. Also after Boo disappears, calling Boo will have him tell you he's at the shack when he's not. Another glitch I discovered is it's possible to enter the board right as the plant grabs you causing a glitchy appearance if done right though on DS version it may freeze the game. In Winky Weebucks at the end, you can press R to "use" the hoverboard as a pet which can make the pet get stuck or freeze the game as a walkthrough mentioned. Also, using the time machine on the DS version can freeze the game if you have a pet following you.

The GBA version is my favorite handheld game of all time. I've never played the DS version but I really enjoyed this video. I watched it completely and I rewatched your original video. You've done a great job with these videos. I have a number of websites where I've written a whole bunch of different strategy guides on optimizing this game and getting the most out of it. There's so many different ways to play it and I just find it so fascinating.

I replay this every now and then, its so good

Thanks for making this, bustin out was my childhood game and a few years ago I discovered and played this sequel. Videos like this let me relive that unique game without wasting 30 hours doing the grindy tasks. Please do Sims 2 GBA if you can, it’s the sequel to urbz and the last of those sims 2d games

Always a pleasure being blessed with an hour of poo goodness! Perfect thing to watch while scarfing a Dominoes after D&D. Wow, that vampire subplot came out of nowhere. XD So was the Splicer island stuff the additional content in the DS port? Also, sad lack of black eyed peas in this version. :( Then again, they were a bit overdone in the PS2 port. The whole paywall bits remind me of Ratchet and Clank 2 and Spyro 2 and 3 with the many bits you were paywalled by the likes of moneybags.

I thought the first "Polly Nominal" mispronunciation was a mistake, but then it carried through the rest of the video 😝 It's Polly Nomial, a pun on the word "polynomial" lol. Anyways, a slay of a video as always. I remember utilizing the DS-exclusive custom painting feature to make my own art for the stage. Now every time I visit my old save I see wonderful & inspiring paintings that say "BIGBUCKS = HOE" 😆😂
