Loved Kenny Rogers back in the day. I was saddened to hear about his passing. It is nice that he lived a long life, didn’t have drug problems and seems to have been a decent guy. That most be rare in his industry.

I worked for Mr. Rogers and his brother, Randy, for a couple of years. He was a good man to work for (especially if you could harmonize). Rest in peace, sir, and thanks for the opportunity.✌

I was fortunate enough to have seen Kenny 3 times in concert during the late 70's and early 80's. Each and every single concert was awesome. Kenny will remain one of my favorite performers of all time. Rest in peace, Kenny, and thank you for the many years of wonderful music. 💖

I have followed Kenny Rogers since first hearing him perform with the New Christy Minstrels and have loved every song he has performed and sang since. rebbeca potter very true, who cares about his private life? we all have done things we are not proud of, these parasites should show the man some respect, he's not even cold yet and the gossip has started! i'm not a kenny fan, Queen is my passion but kenny rodgers had so many fabulous songs and he was such a likeable guy, these people should leave him in peace, why try and dig up dirt now that he's gone? what have they ever done with they're sad little lives? respect people, he was a great guy and will be remembered for many years to come

Can you imagine a musician from his era that never drank? Hats off to him. No one ever destroyed lives and careers smoking a little herb. I’ve always been a fan. I’m 55 years old so there were quite a few hits through my teen years. Giving me a very well rounded choice of music. Everything from Heavy Rock, to Kenny Rogers. I’m trying to remember if liking him as a teen was a Guilty pleasure ? I don’t think so. I think Kenny crossed that barrier where it was nothing to hide like plenty of acts that for me were guilty pleasures.

Bambam NJ Some of us recognize talent but don’t want to fallow the entire careers of these people. I like some of KR music but not enough to know everything about him. I, like many people just want a quick overview before we never think about this man again except when his music is on. That’s how some famous go out, y’all bitchin about this video is ridiculous. Kenny R., Neil D. and Willie N. when those 3 are gone , the spirit of the original talent of American music will be gone. Kenny is gone , rest in peace. I hope we don't lose the other 2 soon. and it's spaced out a bit when we lose them. I'm already really upset along with family members of mine at Kenny being gone. me and a best friend lit a cigar and toasted straight up scotch , to Kenny the day he died. and played Lucille, gambler and more of his songs , to remember and honor him too

I grew up listening to Kinney Rogers and I'm 27 now I think I was 5 when I was introduced to him and air supply cause it was on a recorded on a cesett tape so it was a blow to me when I seen on a friend's FB...... I was taking it surprisingly well till I seen this :'( we will miss you Kinney Rogers

First met Kenny in 1963 when he played bass and backup singer with the Bobby Doyle Trio at the Backstage Club in Houston, Tx. Needless to say he had a fantastic career and was a very personable guy.

God bless. Rest in peace. My condolences to the family.

I met him back in the 90's at a restaurant I worked at in Myrtle Beach. He was SO NICE. He hugged me and gave me his autograph. He was in concert that night at the Palace theatre. I was wishing I was there instead of working!

I just dropped in to see what condition my condition was in ! It was all peace and Love ! R.I.P. Kenny!

In the early 70's I seen Kenny Rogers and Dottie West at a county fair. Will never forget the baby blue polyester suit he wore and Dotties orange dress. Rest in love Kenny Rogers.

Wow.. when was this done? Kenny passed away today.. this tribute is already up. When I heard he was gone, I went numb, body went cold..nausea.. all within ten minutes.. I've always been a huge fan. Rest in Peace.

Do you remember HOW HUGE HE WAS IN THE 80s'??? There is Elvis and Beatles level fame. Then the next level Kenny was in. And he was MAXED OUT IN IT... From about 82 to 86. Rogers was everywhere. Music and movies. More hit duets than anyone. Wow. He gave us some really heartfelt music. I grew up in the 80's and now my musical heroes are starting to die off. But at least i got to live through that time and era. Which in my opinion. Was the last great decade of music.

He will be missed. Glad I took mom to go see him back in 2017. Grew up listening to his songs and he wont be forgotten.

We were both born at St. Joseph's in Houston, a few weeks apart. He played base for us in high school. He was friends with My Husband who was also in the business. I always found him a kind, decent generous, very talent man. He was famous for country but he played great jazz.

I'm not a fan of beards, but THAT MAN looked VERY NICE with a beard. Especially in his younger singing years. Kenny Rodgers, he will always be a legendary musician.

I had an uncle who was a double for Kenny Rogers. Put their pictures up side by side and you couldn’t tell them apart. Unfortunately my uncle couldn’t sing wasn’t rich and died at 40.

This is very sad to hear, kind of crazy too. I bought one of his greatest hits albums the night before he died because I wanted to listen to some older country music. It made me sad to hear he died the next morning.

A shame they didn't talk about his photography talent and his honorary Master of Photography from The Professional Photographers of America. Kenny will be missed and loved for many generations.
