The Untold Truth Of Bones
Ойын-сауық
There are countless police procedural shows on network TV, but Bones stood out among the rest, mainly due to the chemistry of stars David Boreanaz and Emily Deschanel. The show finally came to an end in 2017 after 12 seasons, but despite its long run, there might be some things that fans don’t know about the forensics show.
From the one aspect of the finale that showrunner and creator Hart Hanson thought up during Season 1 to the multiple lawsuits that the show has been in the middle of, let’s take a look at the untold truth of Bones.

I just loved Bones. It was such a simple show with lovable characters. When Dr. Sweets died, it just broke my heart to see Daisy struggle as a new mom, all alone. The beginning seasons were hilarious because you could feel the romantic tension between Brennan and Booth. I’ve seen every episode at least 5 times and I don’t regret a thing. Bones taught me a lot about priorities and ethics. A lot of people put it off as a “gore fest” and while there are some risky episodes, Bones was a lot more dynamic than that.

All the other "squints" had different specialties. Hodgins was an entomologist. Soroyan was a former coroner. Angela was an artist. Sweets was a psychologist. Then there were the interns.

Midnyt Storme Yeah. Castle was really fun around season 4 ish. Castle is one of those rare shows where the middle seasons were the absolute best. The beginning was good also, with all the romantic tension between Castle and Beckett, each episode was so fun. Castle was never too serious, (well, until the last two seasons.) But yeah, a lot of shows lose their charm, that only happened with Castle in the *very end* Because of Nathan Fillion‘s charm. But, I think all of you have to agree with me, *Ryan and Esposito were the best parts of the show.* They were just so good at being the comic relief and they were so freaking funny. *Remember the “Ass-posito” episode where Ryan shot Esposito in the ass, oh my god, pure gold.*

I've watched bones ( the whole series) at least 4 times. It was sad to see when sweets died. And in the end to see the Jeffersonian blow up, the place where those countless plot twists took place it was very sad to see. But, the episode gave a good fitting end to something that many of us thought could never end.

Jonathan Adams, I believe, never signed on as a series regular, and according to Hanson his character was meant to be an in-house administrator with a backstory in archaeology, so there would be no reason to use him outside the lab. They thought this would work at first because they wanted to spend more of the show's time in the lab, but as fans started to prefer the Brennan/Booth dynamic in the field, they decided they couldn't keep underutilizing Goodman's character, so they ended up replacing him with a boss they thought would make more sense in a field role as sort of a mediator for the Jeffersonian and the FBI

I actually loved him more than Camille, but I guess I was in the minority. I thought of him as the male counter-part to Brenan. I felt they complimented each other well, he had the intellect she could respect, but be the authority figure status she sometimes needed, and the social skills for her to know that intellect isn't enough to be a good boss. I felt Camille never truly became the authority figure she needed to be for someone in her position, even though she tried. I cant remember the season/episode, she admitted as much to Bones when she said the line "no Bones I worked for you".

My dad got me into watching this show when I was like 11, I watched a random episode in the middle of like season 6 and I was hooked! I owe so much of my personality to this show and now at 16 I'm getting round to reading the books it was based on. Bones and Sweets were the characters that inspired me the most and now I'm thinking of doing psychology or anthropology at university partially because of them.
Bones was and is a great show with an even greater ensemble cast and crew. I wish it was still on.
I wish we had had more back story on how Zack was recruited and how this naive kid hid it from his observant friends. Also on the GraveDigger. She was a psychopath, to be sure, but it felt to me like there was a missing piece of the story. Was it nature or nurture? Other serial killers’ motivations were self-evident.
My favourite show on tv for the longest time. Initially I watched because of David Boreanaz since I was obsessed with him as Angel. But then the show itself was really good so I kept on watching.

I always wondered about Bones state of mind. She ticked a lot of boxes both for asperger syndrome (mild form of autism; in particular inability to understand humor, sarcasm and bodylanguage...) and for sociopathy (not a full blown psychopath, but someone with limited empathy, a very utilitarian, rather insensitive approach to things and a certain disregard for social norms). In several episodes it was hinted that she had no issue of breaking the law, hurt, maim or kill someone, if the situation requires it. I think that was the true reason, why Booth didn't want Bones having a gun, for the off chance that they ran into a criminal... Moreover, Booth loves Bones, but I'm not that sure if it's reciprocal. She chose him, for his body and social status and didn't even bother to hide that fact. Where I really had to laugh was when she contemplated dissecting animals with her kid both for educational purposes and for developing fine motor skills... Booth wasn't amused...
