I respect his person, but I need to say this the Greek word presbyteros is a generic term meaning aged (advanced in age) matured enough and having seasoned judgement (experience), or a member of the Sanhedrin. Never was elder used for a woman unless in 1 Timothy 5:2 when it was used to refer to older woman. Note when sending Titus a gentile, to ordain leaders in every town he also used the word elder (presbyteros) not shepherd. The word elder is a separate word for shepherd, though an elder is supposed to shepherd as well. Shepherd is Poimēn just as in John 10:14 KJV "I am the good shepherd, and know my sheep, and am known of mine." The word Bishop (Episcopos) is an official title in civil life, in Greek meaning Overseer, supervisor or ruler. They supervise the function exercised by an elder or presbyter of a church or congregation. He started on a good note, but got some stuffs muddled up, I guess because of genuine zeal to clear up some things in the body of Christ. If you are conversant with theological writings, you will see a lot of this kind of his conclusions made on several topics. Though it is for a just cause, but because it's not all encompassing or that it was done with sentiments, even the discipled ends up abandoning some of the excesses as they grow in Grace and in the totality of God's word. See, I am not saying this because I am affected by this corrections or admonitions. Understand Church administration and save yourself from unnecessary arguments that moves no mountain. I get what he is trying to correct, "excesses in Church administration" true but that doesn't mean church administration is unscriptural. A Bishop is an office and not a calling. It's is not a gift. The five fold are gifts. It means someone can be An Apostle and be a Bishop. A prophet can be a Bishop. A Bishop is an elder one who oversees many congregations or churches.

In police you have dsp, sp, until IG. these are just for designation. In His Church he is a pastor but not at same level with other pastors he employed. I see envy somehow. Christ is the Saviour, Arch Bishop, Pastor, Teacher, Pastor,... Of our souls not just one man. I can see how he quickly mixed up the two. Note!!! These offices are meant for administrative purposes. They was nothing like that until the crises in Acts 6:3-4 when they was administrative issues regarding neglect of some members. The church had to work on administrations. Also note: Ministerial gifts should not be confused with Administrative positions. Whether a Presbyteros (Elder) or an Episcopal (Bishop) or even a diakonos (Deacon, waiter, servant, administrator) all needs the Ministerial gifts of the Holy Spirit backing their trainings/skills (if any) in dispensing their duty. Note: the work for perfecting of the saints, of ministry and edifying of the body of Christ can be administered as an Apostle, Prophet, Teacher, Pastor, Evangelist... Everyone must pray and wait on God for the necessary gifts for his administrative office.

Sincerely, there is no sermon here. He just started the obvious but trying to go into what he himself doesn't understand!. A bishop or elder or oversear OR G.O or senior pastor, its inconsequential! use what you are comfortable with or what you understand. Leave the one you don't understand. Just like you are a senior pastor to your younger pastor, so is a Bishop to his priests. It doesn't calk for argument.
