I went to high school Crossroads School for Arts & Science with Arnelle & Jason. Where a lot of the more privileged Black students were sell outs and distanced themselves from the few Black students that were blessed to receive a Crossroads Experience, my greatest memories of Arnelle was of her smile, openness, nonjudgmental ways and kindness. I remember having a water fight on the last day of school one year, being soaked and Arnelle who was in the grade below me appeared with a shirt out of her locker for me. Years later, after the trial. I saw Arnelle at Janet Jackson’s listening party for Velvet Rope, again that smile, humor and gentleness Arnelle led with was displayed. We had a fun time laughing and catching up that night. I am quick to explain what I knew of Arnelle because her living with the stigma of the trail is quite unfair. Arnelle did not deserve to be pressure the way she was. As she has always been a kind and loving girl, young lady then woman. My condolences 💐 on the loss of your father Classmate 🌹

She was basically his nanny. Fixing all his mess, and getting raised by the same toxic parenting we all got of "If you _really_ love your parents, you'll do whatever we ask (demand) of you because you don't want *us* looking like bad parents... do you???" I know this opinion is not well regarded among abusive/negligent parents, or their adult victims that were never able to break out of the toxic parent's conditioning, but I will keep saying it until everyone gets it and accepts it: A parent's love _should_ be *unconditional*. **_Period._** And *not* dependent upon whether the child is able to meet arbitrary requisites to "earn" that love. If you want unwavering loyalty from something regardless of how shitty you are to it, *get a dog*. But *do not* have a child and subject them to _that_ just to boost your ego! STOP FUCKING UP YOUR KID(S) BECAUSE YOU REFUSE TO GET THERAPY!!!

Really, her name is Sydney and a beautiful child when her mother the late Nicole Brown Simpson would be out and about in LA with baby brother Justin in mid 1994.. that whole crime, the slaying of Ron Goldman and OJ’s wife Nicole Brown Simpson played out on t.v. screens, every form of news media, and allowing cameras inside the Courtroom.. all the families, close friends, the prosecuting & defense attorneys, the presiding judge, police detectives, witnesses… became huge celebrities in popularity and house names, reference as “trail of century” in the summer ‘95 it was like watching a day long t.v. opera, and dominated CNN, the major 3 (NBC, CBS, ABC) networks 24/7 and OJ attorneys the late great Johnnie Cochran became well know and larger than life LA defense attorney ⭐️ “ if glove doesn’t fit, you must acquit” OJ was acquitted of Ron Goldman and wife Nichole murders by a jury verdict… when trail was over attorneys, detectives, jurors, family, friends, you name it had offers for their story$$ for interviews, movie, book deals etc.🎥📚 The Brown family filed a civil lawsuit and won a judgment against OJ for $33.3M.. Few years later OJ and his two kids with Nicole moved too Florida, allegedly to avoid paying.. things settled down a bit and many of those individuals heavily involved in the trial, well quietly resumed their everyday work and lives.. Oldest son Jason Simpson much like the oldest sibling, sister Arnelle Simpson quietly disappeared into a life of obscurity.. OJ was changed with kidnapping & armed robbery 2007 in Las Vegas, he was sentenced in 2008 to 33 years and 9 years before parole by state of Nevada.. in July 2017, OJ was granted early parole, he was released from prison October 2017, then in December 2021 was released from any probation. As reported in 2019 “ [Twenty-28] years after the grisly killings that transformed him from Hall of Fame football hero to murder suspect, [74] year-old O.J. Simpson says he is happy and healthy living in Las Vegas, plays golf nearly every day and stays in touch with his children” who live in Florida.. Florida AG upon his release from prison “not welcome back to Sunshine state” ⛳️ 🏌🏽‍♂️

So she spent her 20s, 30s, and her 40s handling family stuff and now in her 50s her daddy dies of prostate cancer. I guess now she's free or is she? People still remembering all the negative more than the positive about OJ. I actually feel bad for Arnelle. This girl didn't stand a chance due to being O.J.'s daughter, and I'm not surprised if she was drinking vodka all day. Hell, living with that scrutiny, all of the eyes on her, folks blaming her for what her father did, how was she supposed to live a normal, peaceful life and find work as the daughter of O.J.? I would've been drinking too! I remember when she did become the IT girl back then. We're both around the same age and everyone thought she was abbbsolutely gorgeous, and to be honest she still is. But looking past her beauty you can tell she's had it rough and she has a sadness about her, and I'm sure it's based on what she's had to endure. I pray that she's finally gotten some peace in her life. She and the rest of the kids deserve it. If it was my dad, I would've stood by him as well. That's just a natural thing to do. If anyone out there has a close relationship with their father, you best believe they would've held their father down as well regardless.

She was taken in by him unaware that he was in his thirties and that he was married. Her father found out eventually and told her no he did not want her dating him but OJ went to see her father and begged him to let him date her and in that he would be a gentleman and pick her up at her house and not keep her out late. No one deserves to be murdered. I honestly wish Nicole had of left him for good and cut ties for a while instead of thinking of the financial gain her entire family had benefited from. I also find it weird that she was shocked and upset at his constant cheating when she was all too willing to be with him while he was married. That cliche phrase is so true. While she might have been naive or blind when she was 18…by the time she got ready to marry him she has plenty of time to be aware of her karma.

She still hit him up for money after the divorce, willingly at least once went out with him, wrote him a letter after the divorce talking about wanting to reconcile. And while there's nothing to say that an ex-wife has to move a really far distance away from an "abusive" ex-husband, she chose to only move about 1 mile away even though she had the means to move farther away.

Arnelle been too busy bailing her father out of trouble all her life she couldn’t live hers.. I’ve always wondered if the Simpson children would ever be in the spotlight if it weren’t for what had happened having your father being the main character in the trial of the century. Also, do they communicate with the Kardashians or Kris Jenner at all? They were such great friends growing up. Saw a documentary recently, one of Sydney’s aunts (mom side) admitted to not speaking with her because she thinks badly of her father. I get it but “murder suspect” aside he was an abuser that of which was fully documented. The toll all this must’ve been on them is beyond I’m hoping they have all healed in some way.
