I’ve played basketball D1 and professionally. When Draymond had his incident, I was trying to explain to people- THIS HAPPENS, y’all just don’t see it. They were like “THIS NEVER HAPPENS!!” That’s when I realized 99% of people who have the most to comment on in sports have never played at a real high level where they’re completely committed to the game. lol

Ruben Patterson was a beast. I recalled a game when Patterson was a Milwaukee Bucks in 07 and they played Portland. Patterson had Randolph in the low post and aggressively backed him out of bound and scored. I know why now. Both were beasts.

First time I ever saw Sheed play in person was the 1991 Conshohoken Games. He was playing against Donyell Marshall. Sheed was going into his Sophomore year, Donyell was going into his Senior year. Sheed was dunking and blocking everything. An absolute animal. Donyell was an automatic bucket machine. From three, mid range in the paint, murdering!!!! Been a fan of both ever since.

And another friend of mine also either read about it online somewhere or maybe also heard it on a sports-radio talk show too, and told me about it also. TBH I can't exactly remember the source of where I heard about this, but the story was so shocking that it's stuck with me all these years, lol.
Love these stories, good to see Sheed speak on these pods as of late. Hope he one day talks about stories of the Pistons championship team he was apart of, specifically would love to hear what he's gotta say bout Ben Wallace guarding Shaq in the playoffs (when Shaq was on the Heat )
