Natalie Imbruglia was the first and only woman on TV, that I had a serious crush on as a teenager in the mid 90´s. I remember recording on VHS tape a late night show (Harald Schnmidt) on which she was interviewed and I kept watching that tape over and over again while feeling that innocent love flooding my system 🥰 Aahhhh, these were the good old days of my youth 🙃 Thanks for sweetening them up, Natalie 💘🌸 🌺

Like many of us, I've loved Natalie's music since the 90's and was curious what it would be like to connect and talk with her. As you'd hope with those you look up to, she was wonderful, bright, engaging and kind. Also, her new album FIREBIRD is amazing. Welcome to The Icons, Natalie!

My lifelong dream is to meet you Natalie, since my 20s I’ve been composing music and instrumentals just for the heck of it, for the past 4 years I’ve been writing just a few lyrical songs with the help of my neighbor Mike Morgan, he has a songwriting degree from the University of Texas in Austin where I live, he told me the trick is to not write as your self, but right as if you were someone else.

Firebird for the past 10 months has been a complete staple in my home. Firebird is just the most beautiful song. Everyone of is trying to get home to somewhere, some time, someone or themselves. "I always fly home" it just resonates. A longing. A deep sense of needing to be home. The winter months with this album were incredible. The upbeat songs having all of us come through lockdown, restrictions and such a changed way of life. "When it all falls down we gotta build it better" Us humans have a spirit that nothing can break. This song and the upbeat songs relay that. Everything is going to be ok, better than ok. 🌸🌼🌻⚘🏵🥀🌸⚘🌷 Thank You Natalie. We love you. X

Seeing her growing this much from 1998 when I discovered her music, I didn’t understand why she was taking too much to get albums out… now in my 40’s I understand she is someone that she put herself first always and she has taught me to try other avenues in life can be beneficial to understand the whole picture of life… She is a real person with an awesome talent, she is a great communicator and makes you feel emotions with no doubt…thanks for this interview…

One word, Amazing! Sexy, Beautiful, Talented. Would give anything to be her guy. That's more than one word. But you can't summarize Natalie in one word. That's impossible. Would give Anything! to be that guy she comes home to at the end of the night. Natalie is what dreams are made of. No one can ever compare to her. Just isn't possible. And, it will never be possible. Don't even try. You will lose that argument, every time. If there was ever an angel on this planet, Natalie is her. Say what you will. If you disagree, you are wrong. No one can compare. That's just the truth. You are deceiving yourself, if you think otherwise. The most amazing woman ever born. Nothing else to say.

Dude music industry and opportunity before the web and iPhones and KZread were totally different in her time. It’s not about opportunity that’s everywhere. It’s the other ingredients that are gone due to technology and so much has been created there’s nothing left to create really. It’s not a cop out. It’s just an artist is really left to their self. Music was a way of life and the only way to get it was to actually see someone live. This Brittany spears and Taylor swift era has killed all of that and thnks to voice enhancement and auto tune you don’t an artist. The machine needs a face. Sad time to be an artist
