@@Zachyshows a mythical blob-like creature, also commonly referred to as "Dream". You can find him in various locations across the Minecraft world, but he won't stay there for long. He belongs to a species called " Speedrunners"

Theoretically the blazes could be held together with magnets instead of magic. The blaze rods are probably laced with magnets. Blaze rods are used to make eyes of ender which leads you to the stronghold, so maybe the magnets in the eyes of ender could be attracting them toward the other eyes at the stronghold. Edit: the reason I had a non mystical theory for this is because I'm not particularly a fan of magic and also because I believe that "magic" is just advanced technology that we don't understand yet. Obviously there's more going on with the blaze rods and ender pearls but this is just a small theory I made for fun and all of a sudden some idiot in the reply section is going off about how 'uncreative' I am because I didn't use magic in my theory (fun fact: magic is not creative whatsoever). That actually happened a while ago but I want to make sure that people who come across this in the future don't start a war about 'magic' and 'creativity'. Edit: yes I am aware you would probably not be able to use magnets to construct a blaze like mechanism due to a number of factors including heat and the fact that magnets don't work like that.

Blazes create magnetic fields from high voltage so the head floats. There is a giant capacitor, and battery in its head. The sticks that float are metal.

Well, maybe the ancient builders gave the crystal to the blazes after the end was lighted

If the guardians are somehow made of prismarine and were made to guard the monuments, it's not too far off to guess the blazes are also made from some material to guard the fortresses. Being a fish or a fire ball just has to do with the environment they're made for, like Iron golems made of Iron that was available to villagers.

Coming back to this 2 years later, I believe the ancient builders were experimenting on mobs to see how they would adapt to the Nether. They were also using elemental magic and created the upcoming breeze mob, an air elemental. They decided to see if they could make a fire elemental by introducing breezes to the Nether, creating blazes. Both have obvious connections to the classic concept of the elements and never spawn in nature, being artificially spawned into the world.

Let me guess it is a flamming most guardian that gards the undead fortress?

Blaze Rods could also be a self heating material, such as a radioactive isotope. Would explain why it can be used as a fuel and to power the brewing stand.

I have a theory of my own, what if the ancient builders sacrificed themselves to create the blazes to fight off the wither. I believe they combined them selves with dispensers and used glow stone's magical properties to float and shoot unlimited fire balls. The reason I believe this is that blazes have twelve rods (3 rows of 4 alternating rods) and skeletons have 12 bones (4 limbs a hip and spine bone plus the 6 ribs). Also blazes are the only mobs in the game which have a humanoid head that has real eyes as all skeleton and zombie mobs lack eyes. Lastly, because of the way blazes were made they couldn't breed so they relied on spawners to reproduce.

Question: If none of the builders who entered the end ever came back, how then did the builders who remained behind know that there _was_ a dragon to defeat in the first place? Thus, why re-program the blazes to "test" how strong a hero is? They were never told about the dragon's existence to begin with. It is a flaw in this theory.

I think that the blaze powder is just crushed up quartz. The quartz needs to be crushed up in order to surround the ender pearl. The quartz may be magic, which is what holds it onto the pearl, what activates the end portal, and what makes the rods orbit the blaze. I also think the orbit is not just for protection, but also for levitation, using the magic as an advantage. I think that because the quartz originated in the nether, the magic came from the nether. The magic was probably created by heat, so snowballs would work against that magic, hurting the blaze. The pearls, as discussed in the "Ender Pearls in Real Life" video, have magic that makes them able to teleport the player. The crushed up quartz, or the blaze powder, partly overrides this magic, so instead of making the pearl teleport you, it makes the pearl move in the direction of the end portal. The quartz that covers the blazes is probably controlled magic, programmed by the builders. They programmed the quartz so that when the quartz is in the overworld, it will go towards the end portal, so the player would at least have a chance to find the stronghold. If you actually read to the end of this comment... no.

I really like how you explore the lore of minecraft. And maybe do a full episode on what the spawners are?

If it was a ventilator it wouldn't need to breathe in *and* out rhythmically. Guardians are a good example of how a mechanical mob would work. Blazes also die to snowballs, suggesting they are closer to sentient fire spirits. Further down by their attacks doing nothing but seeing you on fire. Their rods are definitely magic, but can also be used as a fuel source. I think it must be some kind of exothermic chemical. Blazes also are not hostile to ghasts, and ghasts are immune to fire

I think that the blaze are the souls of the ancient builders locked inside of the rods forced to respawn forever cuz getting rods give u the achievement into the fire and its description is to relieve a blaze of its rod meaning freeing from its rods that are locking it and the metallic breathing is like a human breathing in a tight metal chamber and they attack u cuz ancient builders are ur ancestors and the builders locked the souls of the dead in a cruel cycle

According to the Minecraft encyclopedia AKA the Mibestiary the blaze has existed in the nether for quite some time. The naturalist says and I quote "The first account of the fearsome blaze was provided by one of the pioneers of the Nether. Scrawled on a scrap of paper, it described a creature made of fire, preventing exploration of a Nether fortress. The note was found sometime later, and there was no sign of the explorer."

The lore you came up with was deep. Even deeper than the entire story that can be made out of all the hidden lore Game Theory uncovered, and it's probably like a 27/10 on the deep scale.

Maybe the player is 3 souls together, the player itself aka you, controls the character and the 2 people speaking after defeating the ender dragon are the 2 other souls talking to eachother

Technically, blazes are made of Lava or Glowstone, why I said they were made of Glowstone is because it is an ordinary solid block to these mobs. They shoot Fireballs because Blazes drop Blaze Rods, Blaze Rods are used to make Blaze Powder, you can make Fireballs with Blaze Powder according to Minecraft's crafting recipes, but you cannot shoot them like a Dispenser, Ghast, or Blaze. Why the Blazes shoot Fireballs are because there are tiny Dispensers, Observers and Redstone signals inside their bodies waiting for the mob to open its mouth, if the entity opens its mouth, it persuades the Observer to emit a Redstone pulse activating the Dispenser to shoot the Fireball.

I found your channel just yesterday but have already watched many videos of yours because they're just so darn good. Your theories are so well written and the research you do is just insane. Just a channel like game theory but explicitly for Minecraft. Keep up the good work because all your videos are now headcanon for me.

I agree on how jellyfish are similar to the blaze, what i think about the blaze is that they are a mix of rock or crystal and fire. The blaze weakness is water and snowballs, meaning the entity itself is mostly fire, like how the jellyfish are 95% water. I don't think they really machine but more alive in some way. I don't think they were reprogrammed to attack players but just left with the only command, to defend the fortress at all costs, before the ancients disappeared. In short the blazes are like fire golems, doing the only order they have left, defending the fortress. The way you say that the wither skeletons and blazes and allies is honestly a good theory, since they both live in the fortress. One focuses on ranged, while the other focuses on close combat. It would be cool to see Piglins attack blazes since they attack wither skeletons. Speaking of the skellies, to me, they are the ancients but cursed by something. Maybe they summoned the wither, experiment gone wrong, the ancients defeated the Wither, but most were all injured by the wither effect, and that wither turned them into the wither skeletons, killing all survivors who had not been turned or injured and were eventually turned as well.

Fun fact: When Blazes are hit, they make a sound similar to When an Iron Golem is hit.

I think the blazes are an another evolution of the ancient builders,they adapted to the nether (fire resistance,flying to survive better the ghasts),we need blaze pouder to make ender eyes because the ender eyes being "the keys" to enter the end,the endermen have those ender eyes who use the vital energy of the enderman to make the enderman enter the end;when the enderman dies,the ender eye become ender pearls again because it doesn't have the vital energy of the enderman,so we need the blaze pouder (took from blazes,linked with endermens because they are 2 evolution of the ancient builders) to "reactivate" the ender pearls and turn it in ender eye again (sorry for any grammatical mistake, english is my second language)

I thought there were 4 types of builders, the evolved endermen that are smaller (husks, wither skeleton), the evolved smaller ancient builders (zombies, skeletons, strays, drowned) and the player. There was a virus, that zombiefied everything, the builders that fight other people, the builders that shoot orhers, but they were eaten by others so now they are skeletons (this happened to husks and strays too) and then the player that can defend himself against the virus and the villagers can do this too, but everything wants to kill the player like zombies and phantoms. I don’t know why...

What are the ghasts though? That’s what’s confusing me. The ghast is involved in the uneasy alliance achievement ‘rescue a ghast from the over world and kill it in the nether’.

What you've helped cover about the spawners, considering there's so.many of them and many different types, help me see that the Ancient builders probably had a prophecy before they changed of someone coming to right all their wrongs. Perhaps the Mob spawners left behind were a way to test and train the player, leading to the fated battle with the end Dragon.

My idea after watching this is that they were created from the remains of Ghasts, in which breath Fire Charges, which in it's recipe has Blaze Powder, which also proves that it's a natural material instead of a artificial one made by us. They fused it with a crystal or some metal, like you said with the Amethyst Shard (which makes sense to me, as Amethyst is a common material used in magic in real life, at least based on historical scripture). The metal they're made of could be gold and, as it's seen every where in the Nether, and possibly iron to keep the metal intact (again like in real life to keep the gold from breaking so easily). Gold in Greek mythology is also profound in the creation of automatons as well, with iron, bronze, and silver.

MY THEORY: I agree to the Blazes being machines, but my theory is, they're fully made of Machinery, No magic, No crystals. I think that their heads have the ventilation system at the back, and there's a rocket underneath the head, because when Blazes get aggravated, they produce smoke. I think they make more smoke so that the enemy doesn't see the dispensers they use to fire their Fireballs. Speaking of dispensers, I think their dispensers are right beside the rocket, and hidden away, and each have 4 projectiles, they fire quickly, one after another, it goes back in to reload, the other one shoots, it reloads, the other one goes back down, etc. I think that the rods hovering their head has RCS units just like in space shuttles, I think their purpose is to protect the head from incoming sword attacks. I think their Rods are Panels that has Blaze rods encased, using them as a power source and redirecting their heat energy to the head by radiation. I think Blaze rods are powerful crystals that can produce heat energy.

Instead of blaze rods being held together by magic I though of magnets almost like there is a invisible magnetic force like a coil around the blaze that makes the blaze fly/hover and holds up the rods around the blaze. Also this could prove that it is a magnetic because when you make an eye of ender with blaze powder which I think blaze powder is a magnetic powder it makes the eye of ender float towards the stronghold. I also think the stronghold frame it made out of blaze powder in the part of the portal that is the same color as the eye of ender.

I have a theory on why you need blaze powder: The ancient builders once accidentally killed a blaze and thought of something,"These ender pearls look like something that can lead to the end portal but it can only be thrown but maybe our machines powder is strong enough... It works but will it work or lead us to somewhere random or the end portal we'll there is only one way to find out. Just follow the eye". That's my story. It's not 100% Accurate but hopefully it works

Video Idea: Why do beds Explode.

My theory: The overworld pigs were struck by lightning and turned into ziglins (which is what I call zombified piglins) They couldn't deal with the cold in the night so they went near a ruined portal and stayed there (cause of the lava and magma). They found out how to fix the portal with the items in the chest and some of them evolved into piglins. They also took the pig family members and those ones evolved into zoglins and hoglins (the piglins had eaten them as there was no other food source and they did not know that those were their former family members). The piglins made a magma cube spawner and used it in a bastion that they built, which they then used to protect their gold as they had adapted to using gold as currency. After that they found the fortress made by players and found Hovering Infernos guarding the fortress. They killed the Infernos and used resources from them to make blazes, which were then reprogrammed to not attack monsters but only players and any other mob that attacks it. But the piglins there couldn't find any gold. It was too dangerous to leave the fortress but they also needed gold (which was barely found in the fortress chests). They had no food or money source and died, then they once again became the undead ziglins. The wither skeletons stayed there because they were undead and were already against players like all undead creatures. The reason wither skeletons have swords is because they are undead players and players usually use swords. The wither skeletons are also the people who tamed the Infernos and built the fortress. And finally the theory on the endermen, the endermen were players who had entered the end and never came back since they had evolved into endermen. I do also agree with the portal theory since the advancement is called "free the end" and the endermen aren't actually on the dragons side because they never care when you attack the dragon. The endermen had discovered the end city, then they used chorus fruit in some way and adapted to teleporting. Many of them used some other unknown power (similar to the chorus fruit) to teleport to different dimensions which is why they're found in all 3 dimensions. The reason this power isn't found is because it was used by the endermen and it's impossible to get it back. I hope you enjoyed this giant paragraph I spent like 20 minutes writing for no good reason :D
