I have to strongly agree. Wei Wuxian and these three went through so much together and apart, plus this includes some of Xiao Zhan's best devastated expressions

Great work, the song matches the edition perfectly. I love the way that WWX keeps all of his deep sorrows inside but makes a fuss over tiny burdens that makes ppl laugh about . He is too kind to make others really worried about him.

Me while waiting the living dead movie : i'm not okay 🤪 Can't wait to see wei ning 🤭

This song definitely represents wei ying and who he was and what he went through. He was always pretending to be okay though he was abused both emotionally and physically his whole life. Starting from when his parents died, Living on the streets to being found but still abused by jiang chengs mom, to being abandoned by the entire martial world including his own family for following his conscience and doing the right thing. He was bruised and beaten but not broken till he lost everything, after he lost his sister there was nothing left for him to live for, thats when he broke, so he gave up. Luckily he got a second chance to be with some one who loves him and will stand with him no matter what, and that person became his sun. Thats why I particularly liked the part in the song where it says "Didn't see the sun today but tommorow maybe it'll appear" and right then, Lan zhan just appears behind him and hold his hand. That part gave me shivers. And as we keep seeing one day repeated, we watch him heal slowly as he gets wen ning back and his misunderstanding with Jiang Cheng gets resolved and it ends perfectly with him together with his loved one Lan Zhan. He was finally really Okay. This was really well done. The music was perfect for this and you chose the perfect scenes to represent the lyrics. Only thing, I would have liked to see a yuan/sizhui in there a bit, he was also really important in wei yings life and healing process but it was still perfect nevertheless. Great job.

technically both jiang fengmian n madam yu were bad parents ...like i get the kids not speakin up against them but madam yu constantly mistreats not only wwx but her own children too n her husband doesn't even do anything to stop it..like fr like in asian households this shit gets normalised ....n jeez so much pain of the yunmeng trio(maybe off topic but as much as i luv jyl n sorta jc too after well seein wht he did for his shixiong like couldn't they hv like helped him more durin him n the wen burial ground phase,like give him sumn money or sumn,like i get food is luv but soup n tears n in jc case jus hidin behind his anger issues isn't gon solve everythin) took like root frm the parents...coudnt jiang fengmian given all the kids equal attention..n ikw tht she died fighting bravely n her husband came back for her n dayum tht superior inferior part,tht was lit..butttt i cannot forget how she hit him w zidian n almost cut his hand off(imo i think she would hv done it but then tht wang woman said abt tht office being in their home n thts wht changed her mind),n tht keep sayin tht she hated him n basically wwx gettin blamed as always😢(how is it the poor wwx's fault tht her dear husband fell in luv w his mum or so it goes,n like jeez wwx bein better thn jc tht cant be helped)...like godd wtf is wrong w all of them(n i hate even after his golden core sacrifice he prolly still feels tht it was all his fault)(tho frm wwx pov all this was better thn a lyfe on the streets but its jus not right ..😭)(why tf would u hv to pay a debt back to fam ugh) n ffs both the parents sayin their goodbyes to their kids n wwx to be their bodyguard...his face atm😭..like he was jus a kid too..he only did wht he thought was right ...he didn't kw tht it would be taken as a fucking crime(n yepp tht is sorta wht chenqing means)

@@imliterallygongetviolent4991 oh yeah, I completely agree, he had a horrible family that didn't deserve him. he was too good for them, yet when he was in trouble they didn't do even nearly enough to help him out. Jyl was so caught up in her love jgs, that she didn't have time to worry about him except visiting him once to give him soup. I mean even her getting married he found out from lan zhan first. it always used to bother me, is it that she was unaware that the sect she was marrying into were he's number 1 enemy, because I mean even mian mian who he hardly knew and only saved once walked out on the sect because she couldn't take their bullshit anymore, but what about Yan li. I mean I get it, you were in love, I m not telling her to give up her love, I m just saying she could have done so much more, she was just passive through it all while the tensions escalated till her husband ended up getting killed before she appeared, just to die and add more trauma and guilt to his already spiraling ones. Don't even get me started on Jiang Cheng, jealous, selfish, hot tempered, brainless, sheep with no backbone. I was so happy when Jin guan Yao called him out on it. he may have been acting all angry but his guilty conscience was also involved because if only he was less, jealous, used his brain more and wasn't so obsessed with belonging, maybe things wouldn't have gone this far. I believe if the three siblings stuck together and the wens were incorporated into yumeng without Wei Ying having to go his separate way, if they were united, it may not have turned as tragic as it became. but Maybe he wouldn't,t have ended up with lan zhan, which is a far better choice if that didn't happen, so I guess everything happens for a reason. because watching him go through all that and even die was what made lan zhan so determined to protect him by any means necessary no matter the cost, if he hadn't gone through all, lan zhan's protective instincts may not have been roused and therefore his feelings may never had been conveyed to Wei ying. As for the parents, they were truly horrible, abusive mother, incompetent father, no wonder the family broke like that. the parents taught them nothing about unity or being there for each other no matter what, all they could do even while dying is to order Wei Ying to be their son's body guard. never said anything about unity or sticking together through thick and thin no matter what. whatever they may have given to Wei ying, he paid it back to them in full yet when he needed them the most, they were no where to be found. no wonder he never went back to yumeng after he came back, even after the issues were resolved with Jiang Chen, he may have lived there but it was no longer his home, it probably never truly was.

​@@imliterallygongetviolent4991 thats true, the only person to stick to Wei ying through thick and thin, everyone else failed him at one time or another.even lwj, but at least he learnt from his mistake and never did again. as for the rest of the so called righteous. I can say with all feeling that they are not as righteous as the pretend to be, not even the lan clan. they are all prejudiced, people who don't care what happens as long as it doesn't affect them. the atrocities that happen against the remaining wen people, you can't tell me only wei ying noticed, I m pretty sure they all noticed the pain these old people and children, helpless harmless people were going through yet they chose to bury their heads in the sand, pretend they couldn't see or hear. there was even a time that wwx got angry at seeing this and was going to interfere but was stopped by lwj claiming that he was allowing the demonic power to cloud him, that when Wei ying asked him, "how do you know what I m feeling, that the leader of wen clan may have gotten corrupted by the yin metal but that he was not the wen leader and his stygian amulet was not the yin metal". I remember thinking at that time, didn't lan zhan notice what was going on, didn't he see what Wei ying saw. I mean if he was so worried about Wei ying getting corrupted, he could have just saved those people himself instead of giving Wei ying some long ass unnecessary lecture. And Jiang Cheng really disappointed me at that time because he owed his life to wen Ning and wen Qing, if not for them he would be dead. however he paid back that life debt by turning away from them at their hour of need, so apart from his obvious issues, his lack of gratitude or remorse to wen Qing and Ning even after the second life was grating, I m sorry but I get that he was mad at what happened to his sister and her husband because of wen Ning, but wen Ning also deserved to be mad at them for what happened to him and his family especially his sister but he was just a pure soul through and through. apart from the youngsters what about the adults like lan xiren, mr holier than thou uncle, what was he doing when the wens were being tortured and played with to death, these were innocent people that had nothing to do with the sect leaders crimes, yet they were being killed and used for sports, yet none of them said anything. is this the extent of their so called righteousness, their greedy, selfish minds is what enabled jin guan yao to play them like a fiddle and get away with it. if not for the guy(forgot his name) that roused wei ying from the dead to get revenge for his brothers murder, yao would have gotten away with it. it just baffles me how selfish they all were, truth be told, none of them were fully good, not even Wei ying himself, except for maybe wen Ning our precious cinnamon roll, every other character was really flawed.

See, now I haven't watched too many costume drama or Chinese drama in general to compare but every drama that I've watched so far, in ever genre, in any language, no one comes close to the complexity of WWX or the way XZ played the role. Bias opinion but for all valid reason. You did such a great job. I liked how WWX moved from character to character in every scene, allowing us viewer to see how his relationship changed with each of them with time.

If you ask me.... the first time I saw it, I did cried but not that much as much I cried the next time. I spend while fifty ep crying and my mom laughing on me from distance... I really wonna know what tragedy happened with the writer that he wrote such a lovely, touching, emotional (especially sad) novel... I really LOVE it!!

the editing on this video is so well done. I especially love 3:18. The way the it zooms in on Lan Zhan's face with a rapid zoom but then slowed down in a slip second, that was just so subtle and amazing. It's the little thing like that that make the editing great. ❤❤❤

You know, I watched the drama first before reading the novel. Some settings are changed in the drama but it's still reflects what was written in the novel. But as I read the novel, I can understand more of the feelings that was described. And I really love this drama. PS: I got so frightened when I read the novel because most of the extras are mature and it's hard to imagine this actors doing it really 😨😨
