@@robertrosenberg7862He cheated himself with his excesses and with not focusing on the leeches around him, Don King, close “so called” friends and Robin Givens. The flip side to that is that in ‘87 in the middle of his prime years “86-‘88 he was partying in New York City constantly and STILL knocking everybody out. In believing he was a “GOD” like Cus told him, he didn’t put in the work like he used to in training while under Cus. 💯

What doesn’t come across in any Tyson video is the sheer aura this man possessed. There was a genuine feeling in the air that he was going to hurt someone badly with his power - it’s hard to put into words, but watching him now still raises the hairs on my neck and gives me goosebumps. I'm watching every knockout and I'm thinking "that's Mike, pure confidence" and right at the end he said it himself, his confidence. Lightning Tyson, with Mike you don't hear the thunder before his lightning strikes, he inflicted an instant fry....

Mike Tyson is the only person who hundreds of millions of people love and appreciate him while he is still alive and not wait till after his death to start coming out and showing love. Can’t nobody say “why ain’t yall appreciate and love him while he was alive” Cause like most celebrities they fall into obscurity and when they die the flocks of people start coming out and saying how they cared about them so much and this and that. Not Tyson. Dude is a true icon.
And a gentleman! After a KO walks away very nervous and come back softly asking his opponenet: Are you alright? I never saw another boxer doing that!
I hadn't really liked boxing until Mike Tyson.

Right? If this Jake Paul thing actually happens... I don't know if the Boy really understands just what he's getting into the ring with. Seen alot of guys saying "he just ah old man" ummm... if someone runs you down with a 1966 Chevy pickup truck? It's gonna fuck you up just as much as a 2024 Chevy pickup truck. Just sayin. Mike just needs to hit Paul ONCE. One clean hit - and that fight is over. Done. He's going up a guy that was a first round knockout artist. He still has power, and he still has the technique. Sure, this isn't 1989... he's slower than he used to be, stamina won't be as good, and he's probably not as strong as he once was. But I've seen videos of him sparring. He still goes at guys like a juggernaut. The weird, crouching, bobbing, hunched shoulder chin down always pushing forward relentless charging thing he does? He's still got it.
Gus was right on the money ,when he said Mike will be the BEST WORLD CHAMPION HEAVYWEIGHT THE WORLD WILL EVER SEE ,EVER!!a just can't see anything that comes to Mike ,watching him training he's super quick and fit its fighting stuff, the whole planet was in absalute amazement when he burst on to the tv,Amazing Boxing,

Greatest fighter in history. There will never be anyone better.
Imagine an entire stadium being sold out, and the fight only lasts 30 seconds.
This is my first time watching his fights, and he was truly unbeatable in his prime. He was really a CHAMPION!
Iron Mike is the GOAT. In his prime there was nobody that had a chance.
The best trained boxer of all time, he had so much working against him, short, bad reach and stocky (he was fucking 180 ish pounds at age 13) but D'Amato turned him in to an unbelievable boxer, so fast, hard punching, hard to read because he didn't have a favourite stance like everyone else and was lethal with both hands. He was probably the best at lowline headmovement, look how many lazy jabs he punishes by slipping and ripping. His pivoting was beautiful and like no other before or after and his shadow boxing is legendary! Tyson inspired so many people and keeps doing it even today! Nice video mate, you choose great clips!

I really don't care what people say about Mike. He was nr. 1. no-one could touch his speed, power and accuracy. no one.
Thanks for making this....scary man....hes so chill now a days though....
I think what separate Tyson from the rest of the boxers was that Tyson was a natural fighter, he was beating up full grown men at 11 years old. Most of the great boxers even Ali all started out more “normal” and developed throughout the years, Tyson was just a born killer
Bruno and Biggs were some LARGE dudes, but Tyson was just a ball of fury that destroyed damn near anything or anyone in his way. Just an absolute unit of a fighter
I love watching Tyson fights.. he capitalizes on any weakness/opening he sees.. It really is amazing... and I love to way he almost punches the person in order to keep them up so he can continues a flurry of punches as you are already seeing stars... haha
Mike was a BEAST
I think that what mike did is something that we can maybe 1 time see its just tooo crazy
100% I would have permanent brain damage from taking hits like that

Iron Mike ,no other words necessary
Tyson is gracious...even in victory. Still helps out his opponents
I can’t talk about the 90s and not mention the man I just saw a picture of on a box of blunt wraps in the gas station…the one and only Mike Tyson!!! Back then, there were so many celebrities who were so huge and influential but in the black celebrity world it was all about Jordan, 2pac, Oprah and Mike Tyson. He’s the reason “Pay-per-View Tyson Fight Parties” was a real thing. The night Pac got hit we were watching that fight across the street at my partner Alfred (back then we called him Anthony) house at his stepdad A.J. fight party. Night he bit off Holyfield ear in ‘97 we were actually having the fight party and the house was full of people. We all stopped like “What the fuck just happened??” That was a major story back in the summer of ‘97…I thought he would never be allowed to fight again after that. His life has been covered so extensively and he still has that edge about him where I wouldn’t go out my way to mess with him. I’m just glad he’s doing well cause the media took him through a lot. Some of it was deserved but he got a bad wrap sometimes when it wasn’t warranted. Much continued success and happiness, Mike.
All come and get some them was his words you fighters that fought him when he come out of jail I so wish you would have fought him in his prime you would have got some all right it was a pleasure to witness the greatest ever heavyweight on the planet there was no 1 to match him skill power you name it mike had it we will never see another like him 86 till 89 prime mike unbeatable
