There's no such thing as British rule. The term British rule is coined by Western historians, not Indian historians. Plus none of the Indian freedom fighters before 1947 ever referred to Britishers as rulers. Even Subhash Chandra Bose who spearheaded the Indian National Army 🪖 (INA) never referred to Britishers as rulers. So why should we?

There's a saying give respect and receive respect. How many times do you think we're treated like shit because of the way we sound or look etc. It's understandable how that would push people to be defensive and bitter. The present-day Indian very much understands that it was not your doing, any of it. But the individual is also not gonna forget his own history. In the end, if you're gonna be nice to people (and not racist), they would wanna treat you the same way. The opposite of course would lead to unpleasant exchanges that will probably include the past too. And yeah, we do have a lot racist arseholes here as well, just like you do. The best you and I can do is to ignore them.

I think you need to delve a bit more into the rabbit hole ,as some of the video as not exactly true to the facts . The British did put high prices on the cotton produced so that the brits had their own cotton then cheaper to sell , but they never broke their thumbs to do it they put more tax on the textiles . Yes the empire has its good and bad way of knocking out the competition . You can say that for every country that why today competition thrives between countries . Today India owns the British steel , land rover and bsa including Jaguar cars , we have also built them satellites and gave free aid to the poor of the nation of India .

@@coolraj1063 wrong again when tata company took over they are going to end castle vale jaguar company in 2025 . also they moved bsa which was in Birmingham since 1890 and moved it to Coventry due to high religious people living there . most of the companies were in control of usa until after we paid our debt to them for ww2 . then they were given the rights to sell it to tata company
