Borrowed Bad Hair Day from a friend and recorded it on a blank cassette tape haha. Wore it out to the point I got the official cassette tape at Christmas. When I got a job and in high school, people would look at me weird for listening to Weird Al's music. One of my favorite CD's was The Food Album. Due to my health, I won't be able to ever see him live, but hopefully I can catch some KZread videos from the tour. Also hope Weird Al makes another album! So cool he is doing what he loves.

I'm actually really thrilled that you went for a stripped down show and smaller (air conditioned) venues. I was at the last stop for Strings Attached at the Verizon Arena in Little Rock and it was SWELTERING. August/September is the hottest time of the year in Arkansas and I had to partially come out of my Obi-Wan outfit and swap into cargo shorts. After that I looked like Obi-Dad which folks still found pretty cool, but I ended up leaving the show pretty dehydrated.

Al. I love you. Since My Bologna, I have gotten to retain a piece of my youth by watching you stay relevant longer than ANYONE you parodied and now my children and teenagers know how fun music can be. Glad I can finally drop a thank you somewhere for that day when I was driving on my learners permit and I looked at my buddy in the back seat...the intro to "Smells Like Teen Spirit" didn't sound quite the same on the radio.... We almost gave my mom an aneurysm when I cranked your parody. It was worth being grounded. That said; not getting my kids poked to see ya. Cheers.
