Valparaíso is a city and port of Chile, it is the capital of the Region of Valparaíso and one of the three most populated Chilean cities.
Due to its architectural wealth, its historic center was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. It is characterized by its densely populated hills and its old elevators.
Valparaíso is a city located 120 kilometers west of Santiago, and next to Viña del Mar, Quilpué, Villa Alemana and Concón.

I used to live in Valpo, and people have been telling me that the protests and corona absolutely devastated the city. Happy to see some nice images .... Looks unusually quiet though.

Valparaiso city is like Old germany. Ya is beauty city. But needs cleaning...but is it interesting.

I was in Valpo some days ago for the second time - I still feel the same as after my first visit: The city appears scary to me, I do not really like it and I always feel a bit unsafe. For sure it has some nice, colorful places but sorry to say it's not my style. The neighbourhood City Viña del Mar isn't really better.....it's for sure safer than Valpo but a pure tourist gap with a lot of high, ugly buildings and fast-food restaurants. They ruined the whole beautiful coast!

Ya. I guess I should have guessed it. Due to all the graffiti, I should have guessed it's not safe❗️ The graffiti should have been a red flag❗️

It's a perfectly safe city, especially for South America. Of course it is not Northern Europe, but I feel much less safe for example in Barcelona, LA and so on. Even in the bit more shady parts of the city I felt completely safe walking alone at night. But of course everyone has different experiences and expectations, I think it is a perfectly save place, if you don't behave like a typical naive (US) tourist. Viña del Mar on the other side is a disgusting trap I would avoid
Valparaíso necesita urgente un plan psra que vuelva una clase media robusta, muchos se han ido y esta muy politizado. Las clases medias son el simbolo de desarrollo de las Naciones

Valparaíso no es una city turístico. Las calles falta de limpieza ...y un turista no puede caminar solo . Valparaíso Is not good city cos' Is so durty not clean city .the tourist need to walk with 2 More people. Is so sad to say that sorry.
