I'm guessing that the deepest depths of the oceans have similar undiscovered species. Then I ponder that there are trillions upon trillions of stars in the known universe. This kind of thing amazes and humbles me.

Probably billions of types of life possibly even trillions on earth? And we got the crazy perspective and the cool shit. But comes with a price.

Ever wondered why they stopped exploring down and abruptly went up? Jacque Coustew a famous Explorer once said he had heard thousands of screams while down in a submarine and was scared to death. I've also read theory's of extremely large life forms and the inherited fear of our seas inevitably drying up, ever heard of the Ozone Layer? It's inevitable. People believe they've seen Eyeballs as big as whales at cave exits whilst diving or sending robot explorers that always end up destroyed (I don't exactly buy this lol) Another crazier theory was legitimately Aliens. Isn't it crazy we are on the 30% "good part/livable part" and not the other 70%. They correlated how they obviously do not travel with combustion and would have no use for fire. Many Navy and Military have backed claims to have seen many things at sea entering and leaving the ocean. Another thing about the sea theory was Albert Einstein's assistant apparently said he had spoken with a few Aliens organised by government and although he was interested in physics they questioned the depths we could reach underwater and why we get sick? Amongst other things. Just a little food for thought I've had a nice KZread binge this week on a few of these particular topics. Ha. I'm going to bed.
7:30 - " Theres only so much macaw real estate so they need to use those holes ... Pause " LMAOOOOOOO he dead ass paused 😂
I'm a birder, and I can tell you from decades of experience that the range maps in field guides are very often wrong. And by "wrong" I mean that they are too conservative.
I feel like using small drones to survey and observe the canopy would be way more efficient

I respect the outside studio lol. All you need to do to realize this is outside is look in the back ground cause bugs are actually flying around and the amount of sweat coming from the both of them
A suit in the Jungle ...surely not😅
there video game called war of the gems. one of the last games released on snes. but there is stage called amazon. every talk about amazon reminds me of that stage. and sound track for that stage was amazing music.
Lex, you should have should this with a 360 cam. This would have been such a dope episodeto watch in vr.
My father was a son of a missionary who grew up in the amazon...he has seen animals that have not yet been described and once accidently stood on a anaconda that was as thick as a large tree, he was 14 years old at the time and was fishing for wolf fish, in portuguese (Traíra) the anaconda was under the reath grasses and appeared as a large log. He stood on it to get closer to open water....but then realized what it was as it began to move away into the water....that same year he got lost for 3days in the amazon. Some of what paul rosolie has said has actually corraborated my fathers stories to me.
@AvianOptical

He even expressed that there were 3 species of anaconda many years before science has now confirmed
Wow. LilL Dicky switched career
Absolutely right. We do not take accurate or near the detail I would like too about all types of fauna and flora
Are there people using drones to document wildlife in the canopies? I feel like that would be a great way to have a new exploration of undocumented animals and plants.
Awesome video.
Did they shoot this in the jungle??

When I hear this my mind wonders how many more species, as well as how much C02 would have been absorbed before 500 billion trees had not been cut by humans. :/

Yeah you know, in a different universe where humans hadn’t existed an asteroid might’ve hit the earth and everything would’ve been wiped out anyway. Not that we are handling climate change in a good way but destruction is also a part of life. It’s unavoidable in the end

The fact you wrote C zero 2 and not C O 2 tells me everything I need to know about your level of education.
I want more walking tree footage!
Ooohhh my heart. Pygmy marmosets are my favorite animal..I don’t know why, I just look at them and I melt. I love animals, but they’re just so fun to watch. As a child they had them in the Botanical Garden near me and I loved going there, and my family took me fairly often. They were people friendly, not to touch but if you sat still it was ok to let them sit near you and sometimes they’d touch me. Never sat on me. One time something spooked them and they went screaming in a big group across the conservatory. I wonder if they’re still free in there. Probably not. 😂. This was wonderfully enlightening. I spent a lot of time in the woods my whole life, I love it 😅 I don’t try to categorize much, I just look and admire it. Not my job this life😂 but I love you for sharing your experiences. Very exciting!
The thumbnail definitely a big cat, got that stare
Is it just too dense to use drones?
@juliusfucik4011
6 күн бұрын
Yes. Also good luck getting GPS reception under a canopy. You could fly above it, but from where do you launch? How do you land? Non-trivial issues. Also, a typical drone small enough to carry flies about ten minutes on a battery. And then you use a remote control on 2.4GHz which conveniently is a frequency that is absorbed very well by water. You know, the stuff available in abundance in leaves and trunks 😂
Surprised he didn’t talk about the family of long necks giants that allegedly survived and roam the river
Damn my boy Lex looks dehydrated 😂 it’s amazing how adaptable the human body is lol other guys looks like he’s in his right environment. Id like to imagine that his past life was an ancient Amazonian
I thought you couldn’t purposely land a hot air balloon because you can’t steer it, just go up and down…. How tf did they lay a net from one without landing first
Lex wearing a suit in 100 F with 80% humidity, lol.😂😅
We should leave the untouched parts of the rain forest alone
I don’t quite get what he’s talking about when he’s talking about butterfly’s. So many if not all (17,500 so far) are heavily documented and do have geographical ranges and it does say what they need to grow and what kind of caterpillars they are. Just wiki any one of them. And you’d be surprised how many species are given names based off meanings. For example people like to use Greek derived words to form the name. Nobody is just taking a picture giving a name off the dome and walking away.
They are not in one area because they are in another area at the same time

This guy Paul speaks of species that aren't in the books that he's seen making comparizones to the universe about how big the jungle is and the sofa experts.... Yet he dont believe in aliens or life outside earth. Niel de Grass Tyson would shake his hand.

It's not nearly as interesting as he thinks it is. Damn this guy is full of himself.
Uhhh I’m no scientist but I’m pretty sure the monogamy of macaws has to deal more with a male and female’s ability to reproduce more than what tree they decide to host 😂😂 ?????? Wtf was that last point about??? That was a weird Segway
0:52 this guys nose. Literally upsets me. It's obnoxiously large.
Kid in a suit...
Just listening to this makes me realize how great and awesome God is!
Women's Nike releases last year were better than men's. Women even had better Jordan colorways that weren't made in men's sizes. Can't remember her name, but one Wnba player had a very popular shoe that tons of high school boys were playing in. They really are giving Women's bball a push for success.
