yes my thoughts entirely, no idea if her books are any better, I will never find out. We know operation paperclip was genuine, that wasn't theory.

She’s very good at deterring the topic of conversation with talking in circles with little nuances of interesting facts but nothing anyone with the ability to think deeply could assume on their own. But her voice is intoxicating which is meant to soothe a person who then is usually content with her vague responses.

I think information that is old or isn’t invading or interfering with their current objectives and operations is smart to let the public know because then the public feels that transparency has and will happen. A conspiracy isn't always nefarious to the persons conjuring it and that is the problem when it affects people negatively. For example, some people want to reduce the population to save the planet. The intent is "good" in their minds but the outcome is terrible for a lot of people.

Annie is a highly interesting woman. She seems humble. Her books are fascinating. Lastly, many people in the comment section seem to know her 🤣🤣, however, my guess is that most know little to nothing of what she writes and speaks about...

Ok, I stopped this podcast at 7:02 after listening to this woman rambling on... and revealing NOTHING!!! When asked about which conspiracy theories she thought were untrue... that she later learned to infact be true. She refused to answer that simple question... and instead rambled on for more than 3 minutes, talking around that question. I lost my patience with this pretender!!!🤮

Agreed. Her coy reference to the term "conspiracy theory" crudely evades the fact that the term itself was coined by the CIA to deflect from people who refused to accept the conclusions of the Warren commission.

Conspiracy and theory are actually two words, and the entire point was to get people to conflate two words that, if understood by their definitions is not a bad thing. And here we are in 2024 using them interchangeably, and even some of the most intelligent people say one for the other and visa versa. Well, no, it starts with curiosity and asking questions. When the asker of the questions is evaded, dismissed, or demonised for asking questions, then come the theories. It is natural to fill in the blanks with theories when important people clearly don’t want you to know about something

But, especially nowadays, there are many who would not have normally been interested in such things but have become much more questioning after seeing a false narrative spun by governments, institutions and the media. Many such people are indeed critical thinkers and that is how they came to realise a false narrative was being told. We may not know exactly what “conspiracy” was spun, but we know what was certainly NOT true (the “official narrative”), based on multiple sources of evidence. Have you not noticed that what you have designated as sacrosanct - asking questions - is demonised by the media and politicians, nowadays. Only about certain topics, of course. But of course that will generate theories. The diff between the stereotypical “conspiracy theorist” and an awakened critical thinker is the process by which the theories are reached, and the strength of our conviction that our theory is correct. The latter may use Socratic questioning, take care to avoid logical fallacies, and take their own conclusions with a grain of salt, but they are both conspiracy theorists, technically. The term “conspiracy theorist” as a derogatory term originated from someone who wanted to stop people questioning the Warren Commission. You are perpetrating CIA propaganda.

The only thing I've learnt from podcasts is they're toxic and don't educate people that much.
