I loved the Underdarck chapter in BG2, so exited to visit it or it's creatures again. Would love to be friends with mushroom people 😄

I absolutely love the lore videos. And don't mind if they are longer. I know content creator's are always worried if they're videos are too long, but I love listening about it.

When i came across the Dungeons & Dragons Universe i instantly fell in love with it!!! I am also currently reading the Drizzt Books, i gotta say, your "Lore Videos" are amazing and very interesting, it makes the game experience so much more interesting when you know more about the World. It´s obvious that you put a lot of time, love and dedication into your Videos keep it up man.

Your channel has me all sorts of excited for this game to come out.

First? Lol first time for everything. The campaign I'm getting into is taking place in the Underdark, so this is greatly appropriate. I'm really wondering how the experience of a player drow in BG3 will change based on their origin. They have such a reputation, and such a vastly alien culture and sense of morality compared to most other races, especially surface dwellers. There's no way you can get away with most people just conveniently ignoring your race when you're on the surface.

I agree, Drow should be an interesting playthrough like the Githyanki.

I really hope the Underdark extends beyond Act 1. For me, the Underdark is so much more interesting and mysterious.

Drizzt + Clacker = happy/sad story. Much love for appreciating hims.

Hmm...I seem to recall the Myconids in BG2 being hostile to my party, tough fights.

I have heard of Clacek, I think. From the Drizzt books right? I read those so long ago! Actually, I went to look for them again, but I think I sold them to a 2nd hand bookstore before we moved :(

Clacker... man it was sad when he died because he was changed into a Hook horror by a mad wizard. He could talk to the stone I think 🤔. It's been awhile since I last read the legend of drizzt series. Greatest Dark Elf to ever walk the realm.

Will you do more character lore? i am new to Baldurs Gate or generally DnD Lore, some stories of Arkhan, Krydle, Shandie, Minsc would be very cool, just heard of them, but do not know the truth of them

Yes sir! I believe he was actually a creature called a “pech” before he was a hook horror. Someone used a nasty spell on him :( He was a legend

@@WolfheartFPS As I remember from the books the "pech" are even more connected to stone and earth than dwarfs. "Clacking" the rocks with his claws this is the only thing that reminds Clacker of his past life that fades away more and more... so sad =(

God i loved Clacker. But if im remembering right, he was a person or a deep gnome or something that was actually transformed into a hook horror, not a natural one? someone correct me if I'm wrong, its been a while since i read the Drizzt series lol

5:42 you say beholders attack anything not like themselves, but they will just as quickly, if not more quickly attack others of their kind, for they see anything not them as imperfect, for they alone are perfect in their mind. another beholder is a mockery of their perfection, and they will always feel the need to prove that they are the perfect being by killing the other beholder

Truth be told... when Star citizen is done someone should make a total conversion mod and make full universe of DnD with spelljammers and all of the worlds and make whole DnD universe... including getting Tarrasque glands and using them to show middle finger to Gods by replacing them :D

@@heartoffire5902 back in my youth I played and old DnD game pools of darkness , which dived into the underdark and im sure the game started around level 20 just to be able to deal with all the nasty's down there , mind you that was long long ago and the rules have changed a lot since then , so maybe level 10 guys have the saving throws needed to survive *fingers crossed*

Checking a 5e database just now, it looks like we are indeed capable of surviving against some of the threats down there. Certain Mind Flayer and Drow variants are well below 10 CR, and an Aboleth is 10. However if we come up against some of the considerably tougher enemies, like Beholders - that could be a truly devastating challenge. Those are 13 CR. Something to keep in mind though is that based on the narrative and circumstances, there will always be variations of threats faced so they do have creative license to allow us to face things we normally wouldn't in unusual circumstances while still being believable. Certain items, effects (like blessings/rituals) given to us by special npcs for specific encounters may be tools the devs use to help us engage in exciting situations without breaking lore.

So with the release of game play and the word that it will be LvL cap at 10.With the content of this video.You start at LvL 1 immediately fight intellect devourers ( I am thankful my first DM wasn't this Evil) I don't see how that is possible (1) or how within a short time the ability to go into the Underdark at these LvLs.(2) With the possibility to have to Deal with an Elder Brain which will no be tucked in a corner alone and The Illithids not be a one at a time encounters,throw in the rest of the Underdark,how can the Lvl be capped at 10.Yes you can do other quest before going in but I don't see how a Lvl 10 cap is justified(3).I personally wouldn't want to start the Underdark (start) until Lvl 10.I base this off of PNP game play with the help of this video about the dangers and very strong denizens of the Underdark.What are your thoughts.You can look at the CR of individual monsters (conclude) that's not too bad,but as I said before in the Underdark the encounters will not be 1 of (insert monster) vs you and 3 others.We are talking you are out numbered and may be greatly outnumbered per encounter. Thanks and I have enjoyed all you content.

Actually Baldur's Gate 3 would be in the year 1494, 1495 or 1496 DR, not 1492 DR, otherwise the game will be set two years before the tabletop game Baldur's Gate Descent Into Avernus, which is is in 1494 DR, and nobody said Baldur's Gate 3 is set before Descent Into Avernus. Baldur's Gate and Siege of Dragonspear was in 1368 DR, Baldur's Gate 2 Shadows of Amn is in 1369-1370 DR, and Throne of Bhaal is immediately after Shadows of Amn in 1370 DR. Sorry, but as an avid fan of everything Forgotten Realms D&D, I felt the urge to set the record straight.

@@WolfheartFPS 100 years after BG 2 is not an entirely accurate explanation on the time gap between BG2 and BG3. Though it is a century later, a couple decades have passed too, it is actually more than 124 years. There's no way to accurately know what year BG3 is in until the game is released. I respectfully do not believe BG3 is before Desent Into Avernus because I clearly recall Larian claiming that Baldur's Gate: Descent Into Avernus is a prequel to BG3. And since BG:DiA is confirmed to be in the year 1494 DR, there is no way BG3 is in 1492, just saying.

@@WolfheartFPS Larien was specific, it happens AFTER avernus with many of the choices and parts showing up in BG3. As an example, the tiefllings you see in the tutorial are some of the refugee's
