This is an outstanding campaign, Laith. For you becoming the father of Spain is an exceptional achievement, and ruling Hisipina for the Umayyads to become masters of Iberia. I would love to see parts two and three of this video and see the Umayyads conquer Aquitaine, France, the English Isles, or possibly the Holy Roman Empire. This is a great video, my friend. Please keep up the fantastic work and keep doing these videos, for they're entertaining and historically educational at the same time! I have seen some of your videos before and saw this video on the KZread Playlist. I'm new but have yet to be a subscriber, and I have some ideas for future campaign videos if you're interested in hearing them.

A random note, CK2 and CK3 put the members of the Quraysh, Alid or not, as Sayyid. So you get Abbasids with the Sayyid trait, even though they're just Qurayshi.

In crusader kings 3 there is a lot of invisible powerful traits like saiids trait and qurish trait and masmoda trait and zanata trait and viking trait too all of them they powerful and the people they don't see them hahaha

@Armand Van Niekerk Quraysh was a whole tribe of several clans. The Abbasids are of the same Hashimite clan as Ali and Muhammad, the literal same family, hence at the very least they have the title of "Shareef". "Qurashi" is a very broad term referring to absolutely anyone of any clan of the Quraysh tribe, so it is more accurate to say they were Hashimites/Hashimi.

@Armand Van Niekerk They are ahlul bayt automatically since they decend from a member of the family, and many of the rulers were sayyid because they married into the direct lineage.

From what I understand Renown is not for the individual but dynasty-wide. So having your blood relative ruling Maghreb helps your dynasty's overall prestige. At least that's what I've noticed in my playthroughs.

@TheSocialStreamers ck3 challenge start as an establish norse power in the early start period, go an a varangian adventure invasion into southern Italy to make it your home, especially the greek cultured once first, But dont convert your religion away from norse asatrue but create a hybrid Norse-Greek culture that can use both Greek and Norse troops, while being able to raid as unreformed Asatrue pagans, make it your goal to spread asatrue across as much of Italy, Greece and the mediterran as possible.

Good idea, but its honestly a little too easy imo. The only real challenge is succession and crusades (which should all fail when setting cagliari as the capital and picking off incoming recently landed troops). It's really fun to play tho

@@STANKYCHEEZEMAYNE smh he HAS looked it up before. But it’s all about stats. Learning is most important, then the stat you want their education to be in, then bonuses like Genius. For example the ideal educator for be a Genius Mastermind Philosopher with a high stat in the education you want. From there you just go down the ladder of what you have to educate kids. Laith also almost never actually picks the education which results in the intrigue kids.
