I worked on these Music cars, I remember them vividly! These predate the Black Badge release, so obviously don’t have the dynamic enhancements those cars do which sharpen them up slightly.

Fun review of a unicorn motorcar, thank you James. Love the road presence and the doors opening the other way around. Cool machine!

Now we NEED a full GHOST review!…the 1st gen kind Sir. I own an F02 750 and it would be great to hear you find some comparisons. My F02 is HORRENDOUS when it comes to ANY maintenance! Absolutely terrible, maybe because it shares so much with RR. The wing/bumper cam got lost on the highway…the camera was almost $600.00 as its the same as the RR! Keep up the good work my friend! So many YT reviewers out there?.., but us subscribers all love YOU and how you do it!, so keep being you and your success will continue its growth at “its” own pace. You’re yourself, no gimmicks, and no crazy thumbnail/clickbait…us TRUE car folks appreciate that in this day and age fyi. Be safe Jay! ❤️

it would be EXTREMELY unwise to drive this elephant through ANY old European capital's downtown area, where even an E class feels huge and you always barely have a couple inches room between you and the parked cars.

Absolutely fantastic video. Thank you for saying that about the bass, it is almost criminal that Rolls would over look it. The black interior seems so cheap and really lets it down. The sense of girth and terror is this car you described is accurate because that left camera I felt all the B-roll from that I was waiting for hedge to knock the mirror off. Looking forward to the next video. Keep up the good work. 👍

the bass response and the other frequencies in this system are exceptional, this guy only knows how to criticize. Criticized this, criticized Naim for Bentley, etc. It just becomes boring, lying and unfair.

All factory car audio is pants it’s quite easy to outdo factory audio even b&o Bose meridian etc by using a decent head unit high quality amps crossovers and focal or equivalent speakers. Then finely tuning the crossovers and amp filters / gains you can actually get some pretty phenomenal sound from a vehicle.

Nice video, looks like you are having fun doing it. It makes it more entertaining to watch.

Whilst no car audio system will match a proper audiophile set up at home, how does the Wraiths audio compare with the Bentley Continental GT 'Naim' set-up you tested in August 2020? As far as car audio goes .. that Naim system is one the most impressive I've experienced in a moving vehicle.

Such a menacing looking thing, looks more like something that was designed for a movie villain than a production car and has huge presence. You make a great case for it but I would take a Conti GT instead as I think it has more depth and I prefer my GT’s a bit more sport than comfort biased. Thanks for bringing this to the channel, great review.

My Mercedes S550 has a fantastic Harmon/Kardon surround system featuring DVD audio, which really sounds fantastic. I've owned 75 vehicles since 1994, its the best audio system of any of my previous cars.

HK audio is very hit and miss depending on the car. Good in a Mercedes, but was quite meh in the new Golf I recently drove.

A car inspired by music but with a stereo system that is found lacking and at a prices most of us can only dream of. So i won't be adding this one to my lottery win wish list. I have driven older Roll Royces and despite their claims, they were not the best cars in the world. You can't get it right everytime, but this one reminds me of a Jaguar X type that i owned for a few weeks before all the faults forced me to reject it. I can count on one hand the number of cars that i have owned since the mid 70's that i was sad to see go. There were so many that failed to live up to the hype that surrounded them. An expensive car does not guarantee anything, least of all live up to your expectations. So i understand how you feel about this one James.

What a wonderful car! It must have been a privilege to drive it for a few days.

I've seen, a wraith in the flesh at a customers, who drives it like a 80's nova. They literally stand on the loud pedal to the protests of the tyres. Looks big enough to park a Kei Car in the Cabin.

@@degou3438 Actual Hi Fi in a car is problamatic as the space inside a car does not support easy/good bass frequency reproduction.

RR really did nail it with naming their cars. As a gamer, when I hear Ghost or Wraith, I immediately think of the Halo Covenant vehicles which coincidentally are known for their "soft, floaty and gliding" driving manners in the games.

The Mark Levinson stereo in my Lexus was the best I've had to date, the B&W in my Jag is good but just not quite as good. I'm a bit of an audiophile myself so I appreciate when a stereo does what it should. Doesn't the Rolls have a sub woofer?

Question: Which Lexus did you have? Would there be any appreciable difference in quality between an IS and an LS other than ambient cabin noise? I'm looking at an IS250 and I'm limiting my selection somewhat by wanting the ML system in the car

@@Grayxyz I had the IS220D sport. It had the media pack which is the ML stereo, reverse camera and sat nav. The sat nav was next to useless but the ML stereo was great.

Great review but if I was lucky enough to be in the market for such a car, I would search out a Phantom Coupe which is more of a looker .

I have read somewhere that Rolls Royce use Lexicon equipment in the cars. And the speaker grills remind of what Lexicon use in other cars.

Someone jump in and correct me if I'm wrong; but I had always believed that Volkswagen bought the entire Rolls-Royce Motor group unaware that the Rolls Royce name was owned by the Rolls Royce aero/engineering company. BMW swooped in and bought those rights off of RR aero/engineering. Leaving VW somewhat guzumped.

I think for your average owner the music will be more than sufficient and as long as you can connect your phone to it. For me the biggest let down is not having seat cooling, I would have expected it to come as standard at that price.

Unfortunately the audio you can output from a generic Bluetooth codec isn't on par with the cost of the vehicle.. one should always test with CDs and then use auxiliary connection with a proper LDAC or AptX receiver for proper wireless audio.

For sure Bluetooth isn't perfect, but it was not the limitation in this case

The irony that the only BMW with a communicative steering is a Rolls Royce. If they could apply it to the 3 series now…

drive a prius prime on camera, mpge is a bit higher than any model 3, theres less battry to take out the ground since recyling isnt happening much, no range anxiety. theres aptera and nobe motors, alpha jax is full electric off road version of mazda mx30

Old people have more difficulty hearing high frequencies so I’m not too surprised that this sound system is not Bass heavy, which younger ears prefer. Also, I think the default settings of the systems should be good and well-rounded, I want the freedom and luxury or tuning it to my preference

Most likely BMW just hiffed their normal "Premium B&W" branded amps made in Chinese sweat shops in and threw a bunch of extra speakers at them hoping they'd keep up, then paid an audio engineer to "tune" it as best he could, and called it done.
