• RWD is for a smoother ride, quite obvious why RR is keeping doing this. • Sunroof adds a lot of noise, so an sunroof that keeps this RR quite needs more engineering than for a Golf. • All the flaws you mention about electronics is because this RR uses old BMW's electronic systems, look how crappy the infotainment looks compared to a 4 year old 4-series. BMW still has no autonomous driving, only assist, so we're not going to see that any soon in any RR either. To me it seems that BMW plays safe with RR when it comes to electronic technology, they prefer reliability, quality and luxury over brand new techniques that hasn't been fully tested yet. Even when it was a British company, it was never fitted with advanced technology. So it somehow makes perfect sense considering the costumers who actually buys the RR instead of the person who can drive it for a day.

That’s how luxury cars work, they make normal options extremely expensive, BMW and Mercedes do that too.

I love the fact that you mentioned that the Sonata Limited comes with cooled front seats. That's actually one of the cars I was considering my budget from Hyundai, with the Sonata Limited 2.0T, the Tucson Limited 1.6T AWD with the Ultimate Package, or even a lightly used 2015 or 2016 Genesis 3.8L HTRAC AWD with the Ultimate Package. I am also considering the new 2018 Accord Touring but given that I dorm at a college in NY, I might need to get one of the cars from that list that has AWD. Idk for sure if I need it or not, lmk what you think I should do & which one I should get

Exactly and he cant drove a 2wd in the rain and snow like 99% of the rest of the population. He needs to stick to bmws with aftermarket exhaust systems as that's what seems to get him going

Hey everyone i was wondering does the wraith have a manual mode transmission or paddle shifters or something can u shift gears manually?

The UI looks like a rethemed BMW iDrive. Even the HUD looks the same, except the BMW has driving directions as well, though I'm going to guess that the RR has that too and Parker just isn't using it. *edit: Oop, BMW group owns Rolls Royce. Did not know that.

I think rolls focuses more on the riding experience over the driving experience. They're usually driven by chauffeurs. That's why the back of their sedans are made the way they are. Rolls aren't known for their "driving experience."

Your parking in a standard car park , you drive in the space trying if LUCKY to get a double space AND NOT A LONG WALK FROM YOUR OFFICE OR SHOP TRIP so when you get out from the driver side at least the AUTO DOOR will have enough clearance to open safely. . you return and someone has taken the space by your drivers door . CAN you then" manually" squeeze depending on your girth and without door damage back into your handsome RR WRAITH. PS LOVE THE CAR future classic

Rolls royce is rwd because it's classic. and rolls wants to keep certain things classic. And come on it's not that bad a rwd car in the snow. I go with my bmw 3 series just fine, no problems at all. But yeah maybe because my country (the Netherlands) keeps the road in better condition than the US.

josh knix doesn't matter. The throttle response of the rolls is much lower than my car. The rolls is very heavy, though. But I think a rolls can handle the Dutch winter roads with ease.
