I know for cannon reasons lost Woods should be the warp for mm but happy mask is such mote fitting is it not 😁❤️❤️ I have played every zelda game even the cdi games so this is not coming from a casual zelda fan

i remember in 2018 there was a run performed at gdq of a randomizer that merged Zelda: A link to the past and Super Metroid, that was even more out there to be honest

Fun fact! The reason you can climb that wall on death mountain pass to grab the skulltula token check is because the ladder texture is invisible. If you use the lens of truth there it reveals one of those metal bar ladders hidden at the back.

I like the idea of a game having two completely different worlds in terms of style, story and characters, with both being only loosely connected but both requiring saving. Maybe even have the player choose one to beat first, dooming the other, until you get the true ending to save both.

Hi, a tutorial on how to play this randomizer, those hd textrures and which emulator to use would be great :)

This was really fun to watch! I'd never actually seen a zelda game randomiser before, this is the first playthrough of one I've seen, though I did know they exist. The way OoT and MM were combined into one game was also really cool. I'm glad you linked to the randomiser because it looks super fun! This was a really cool playthrough, great video! :D Also, every time the text box would come for an item that was like "item (MM)", it always made me imagine someone being like "mm, yummy, light arrows" (or whatever item), lol

Your bow and boomerang aiming is top tier

Next step is to have the items work between games (Although that would probably require a hellish amount of work on the inventory screen) Because dammit Goron Rolling through Hyrule Field or just being Adult Link with Biggoron Sword while fighting Twinmold would be hilarious

I enjoyed this way more than I thought I would lol Scratch that, I LOVE the concept and mystery of this video 😂😂

Theoretically speaking, could you now mod the transformation masks into Ocarina of Time? It's probably not that simple but it'd be cool if you could.

I can see this being a cool and unique timeline. In this version of the game(s), Hyrule and Termina’s connection is more well-known, which leads to Ganondorf and Majora declaring war on eachother. In Ocarina of Mask, they present equal threats. In games happening after it, Majora inherits the mantle of Demise’s curse, with all three of the Triforce’s chosen being playable characters.

Nintendo seems to be coming after modded games - or even just vanilla gameplay challenges. Hope you're safe out there; this was an amazing video.

i wonder if this randomizers have a failsafe, so an item isn't locked behind something you'd need it for for example, you'd have to heal Darmani's soul, to obtain Lens of truth

Funnily enough it does! Randomizers typically have something called logic. A means to make sure the player can beat the seed without getting locked out of an item 😄 However you can play a no logic seed which throws that out the window and could result in your example 😆

I'd say it's possible! Might require some glitches if the randomizer logic doesn't want to be nice 😆

Imagine how chaotic it would be if ALL the Zelda games could be combined and randomized.

I'd like that the only way to arrive at Termina was through the forest just like Link did in the mm's intro. I'd like the modder do that, it will give at the game a better conextion feeling than just using the mask shop

What a great mod this is!!! I doubt I could do it though, my memory of MM is extremely hazy, OoT not as bad but still wouldn’t remember all the skultulas and grottos so I would end up so lost and confused leading to rage quits 😂

I thought the LINK between the games the HERO OF TIME, not the Mask Shop too. Makes sense though. Linkus7 actually showed this randomizer off initially. It's neat.

@@Smiffic Wait until somehow a randomizer that combines Ocarina Of Time, Majora's Mask and Wind Waker. How would that work? OoT Mask Shop leads to Clock Town, but, would Lost Woods lead to Outset Island Woods? We know story wise Toon Link has nothing to do with the Hero Of Time as confirmed by the King Of Red Lions when talking to Jabun. Also, kinda off topic, but, Dondozo from Scarlet & Violet reminds me of Jabu Jabu.

Pretty sure it can be done with the gamecube collectors Edition Version.. while those roms are ports, they do have file integrity of the gamecube which makes especially the mm Version a bit unstable.. but it probably can be combined via emulation

This was awesome. But I wish you would have just gone ahead and collected everything before ending off. I mean there was no reason not to. It just bothers me to see that item check list under you incomplete. But besides that little nitpick. This was freaking awesome.
