My local lake in southern Alberta Canada is about 1/2 way melted. Docks go in may 16th, I’m in the water may 17th freezing half to death but it’s worth it.

Shawn! I was just watching your videos, they are helping a lot. I started wakeboarding last season, but my boat is a Yamaha SX210. It doesn’t have the wake tower, I feel my body hurts every time I go out because I feel the line is pulling me down, I’m looking to get a 252X but until I get that, is there any tips you can share? Thank You!

Being tied "low" isn't impossible or even a bad thing but getting a pull from a higher angle can make you a little lighter on your feet. Isn't essential whatsoever to get the rope but if you have a choice, tie high.

Good question but no. I'm a foot shorter and ride my 139, sometimes my 144, like I did last week. You should go to the 150 for sure.

Hey Shaun I’m 45 years old and I’m so close to landing a flip/ barrel role. I’m using a 20year old parks 143. I’m 210 lbs. I want a new board with boot bindings. What board do you have in mind for me? Always hyperlite

At 210 lbs, the 143 is kinda small. I'm 145 lbs and ride my 139, sometimes my 144. I'd suggest sizing up for sure and I have a 150 in the Hyperlite Murray line. You can find some decent package deals on em so let me know if you have trouble finding something.

What length rope and what speed you ride?

Depends what I'm doing but I find most people should ride around 60', about 20mph
