The Ultimate TEL AVIV STREET FOOD TOUR in Carmel Market - Israeli Food at Its Best!

Tel Aviv. You’d be forgiven for thinking you landed in South Beach… if not for the incredible amount of Israeli flags out on display. Whoever’s in the flag business is making some pretty serious coin. Or shekel, rather.
Our first order of business is meeting with Peninah, a tour guide with Delicious Israel who relatively recently made aliyah or immigrated to Israel from London. She leads us through the Carmel Market, a shuk established in the 1920s.
Special thanks to Delicious Israel for the tour! www.deliciousisrael.com/

What's your favorite Israeli dish? I had something in Jerusalem that might be my new favorite... It'll be in next week's video!

All the borekas, roasted cauliflower, grilled meats and salads! Fruits and vegetables taste so much better in Israel.

The Shlomo-Doron place in the Shuk was known for years for the best Ful in town (fava beans) not it's Hummus - It's not a "boring paste", travel to Acre or other Arab neighbourhoods, not the touristy places in the center of TLV.

The owner was the one saying they were known for their hummus, so guess I’m taking his word on it. I mean, I don’t think hummus is boring. But I didn’t grow up in a family business of making hummus like he did. I can see how anything you’re surrounded by constantly can get boring and how he might want to spice that up in his own way. It was good stuff! And I did go to Acre. It’s in my last Israel/Palestine video. Good hummus there and at Shlomo-Doron. Thanks for watching!
