Thank you so very much for this video! I have been trying to french braid my own hair or someone else's hair my whole life and I'm 40 years old. I watched some of your videos last night and today I not only french braided my own hair but did a Dutch French braid on my mom's hair! Also wanted to say it was very refreshing to watch a how-to video that gets right to the point and then explains everything in simple detailed instructions that match exactly to what was being shown in the video. I just tried the fishtail braid by myself on my very, very long and very full head of hair lol. It looks a bit messy, but I did it! First time ever! I love it. I waited until everyone was asleep and did it in complete darkness and silence lol. Thank you for explaining so well and for the great videos!

Thanks for the video...would've been nice asking how to do this when opening up but this video makes up for it.

best video on braiding. Although our hair is dark; it is easier to see how to braid with the blond hair. So that helped a lot.

Before this, I could only do a regular braid, which my aunt taught me when I was pretty young. I tried to figure out how to do a French braid for years, but I never could do it correctly.... now I can do French, Dutch, Fishtail Rope, and their double versions no problem! I am going to try Infinity later tonight.

Also I already knew a good chunk of these but some of them I have never seen before LOL Thanks!

You may know this already but if not: at the top right of the video viewing window there are 3 dots in a vertical row. If you click on it one of your options is playback speed so you can speed up slow videos, or slow down ones you need to go slower. 🙂
