Come join us as we take our first local bus from Ella and 6 hour long journey which we took before we reach Mirissa, where we have NO idea where we are going to stay as we did not book or research anything in advance.

It's a new year for entire Sri Lanka 🇱🇰 . Everything come to standstill for one week . Holiday for all .hardly anyone will wait for public transport. Use tuk tuk or taxis. During Holiday season . City's are all closed. Enjoy your journeys and make sure you do your homework regarding countries you hope to travel. Safe and happy journey

Yes but luckily because of Erande (Our Host) nothing seemed impossible and going via Bus was just for the experience and we had multiple other means and options prepared just in case. Sri Lanka is quite resourceful even on such days! Don't you feel that a little spontaneity makes travel a lot more fun specially in a safe and friendly country like Sri Lanka?

Yes but thankfully our host Erande was with us and he was able to help us catch a bus and it was all good in the end :D
