the Brit 800 is a magnificent rock'n'roll amp model. @LeonTodd walks through 3 great options for that iconic tone.
Жүктеу.....

Just got a new Axe 3 and have spent almost all my time on the Brit 800. You dial in an edge of breakup tone and then hit it with a boost for heavy stuff, or add a compressor and some stereo wet effects for that 80s tone. Love it.

Love it! I feel our therapy session went well today!! : )) How about a video with some amps for P&W with clean, to medium gain? And possibly use of volume knob to clean up? Also, do you have Treble bleed on any of your guitars? Thanks man!!

Love this...I do wonder why they haven't done the 900/900SLX, though. I was lucky enough to have had one of the SLX's and it truly was a proud and noble thing.

I own a JCM 900 MKIII from the early 90s, which is basically the JCM 800 with Diode clipping - predates the SLX by a bit but it is close. Also predates the JCM900 that most folks don't care for. Anyway, the JCM 900 MOD in here is pretty much the same as that version of the 900.

@@dominicgibson9529 On the Fractal. I've found just using the Brit 800 and turning on Saturation Switch (Ideal) and having the dial at default gets me right in the ballpark. Essentially those early 900's with diodes are meant to be Marshall 800's with a built in Tubescreamer, since everyone was using a Tubescreamer back then. Or at least that's what I've read and that's what it sound like to me. So you could even use a Tubescreamer (on Fractal) in front of the amp or the T808 input boost.

i recently popped in leons cab ir mentioned here, and it was very thin sounding. at least compared to my go to ir's, the #60/#57 legacy cabs. 80/8000 on both.
