Your Voice makes any Video Game Story sound good.

This was one of my favorite gba games, I wish I still had my old cart. I played it when I was really young (only FFI just a little of II) and I leveled my party to 99 and got all the best gear and somehow as a kid still died to the final boss. I found the cart some time in high school years later and decided to see how hard it was. It was a cakewalk, I didn’t even remember my spells or equipment and just wiped the floor with the final boss after just not playing for years.

Definitely one of my shorter updates, as I work to top off some of the longer series on this channel. Final Fantasy, Resident Evil, Danganronpa and Fate still need to be completed before I can move onto some of the other started-but-not-finished series. I find this a nice resolution and nod to my favorite character of the series, Minwu :) Next RECAPitation will be a Patron request: Skies of Arcadia

Minwu is one of my favorite characters in the series as well, and FF2 is my favorite game! I'm so glad you finally covered this expansion, I loved playing it and I'm glad others can know this story through your videos. Keep up the good work! :)

Man, and here I thought I had actually come to terms with FFII with its story. That extra story now makes it twice as heart crushing. And, once again, Leon is almost none-existent. If nothing else, I like how the two games were made the way they were but a third story installment to the FFII game would be much appreciated to seeing Leon actually traveling with his friends and fighting some common enemy for once. They remade FFIII and garnered a lot of praise and the game should also get a continuation. One of the next few, FFIV, FFV, or FFVI, got an extra game made to tell the story of what happens afterwards. I think it was FFVI. FFVII got lots of extra games. I'm not sure of FFVIII... FFVIX didn't get anything new after it was done. FFX got a second game, and is stated to be getting a third sometime later. Skipping FFXI and FFXIV, FFXII got a much needed refreshed battle system (and probably an added story). FFXIII got a follow-up to its story. FFXV isn't even done yet, from what I know.

A clever way to do filler to help tide others over. Well done!

Final fantasy 2 is my favorite final fantasy game, the story inside this game are classic and realistic the struggle and sacrifice to reach the emperor Even after he dies his souls splits into 2 and take over both hell and heaven truly amazing, he's the only final fantasy villain that have my respect and hate

im playing ff2 now but redoing it since i forgot to get josef ultimate weapon. this reminds me so much of kh series with other halfs and multiple versions of people XD sounds like bad ass bonus content kinda cool that each dead party member updates everyone on what happend affter they died

Huh! I did not know this existed, and I kept a close eye on GBA releases in those days. Lovely short video! I was surprised to see it so soon. I like these ones. The story itself, short and sweet, was pretty cool even when summarized in under 5 minutes. :D See you in the next one!

All new dungeons? The Unknown Cave and Unknown Palace were literally backwards palette swapped versions of Jade Passage and Pandemonium respectively! That said, I kinda liked SoR. Side note: I have this neurotic tendency to repeat the fight with Minwu & Gordon vs. the two Sergeants and Black Knight until the Black Knight drops a Sun Blade...even having raised Minwu's Teleport level to 6 or 7 in the main game just for this!

Awesome. :) Revisiting the series atm (currently busy romancing Fuuka in 3) and altough the games are really long, I think the main stories could be easily summed up in sub-10 min vids.

DV3 is in a half-done state next to a few others, so its sooner rather than later.... The challenge with ZTD is that one has to do EVERY branch to get the whole story so its very time consuming and takes extra long to edit because of the non-linear manner the plot is told. I WILL get to it though.

It's frickin ricard...

People have to realize that the Light Emperor wasn't any better than the Dark Emperor. The Light Emperor offered a false paradise controlled by him. In additional, the Light and Dark halves were connected. The Dark couldn't be defeated unless the Light half was defeated at the exact same time. All the Emperor desired was to conquer both heaven and hell, so both versions needed to be destroyed.

The story extra content actually canon story, but i don't care about worst system but damn story is much better including soul of rebirth

Infinitiver It was originally Richard ... as mentioned in the beginning, they changed it to Ricard in the remake, but I'm sticking to Richard.

Oni Black Mage Uhm... originally where, exactly? I swear I've never seen him called Richard in any iteration of FF2. I've seen Gareth in the Origins version on PS1, but never Richard. P.S.: This wasn't intended as a hate comment!
