I'm the same age as Princess Diana. I was married on 8/8/81. So, was planning my wedding when Princess Diana was planning and celebrating hers. That marriage ended in divorce the same year as Diana and Charles. I feel we grew up together. ❤ thank you.

My Grandma had scrapbooks from the 1940s on through the 1990s of the royals and the Kennedy s.😊 Complete with articles they've become my most memorable and valuable things that I possess from my grandmother. I'm 2 years younger than the princess.

I still remember that funeral the princes walking behind her and that letter on her casket that had mummy scrawled across it. You could tell the princes, her brother the earl, and the duke of edinburgh were truly in deep mourning... Charles however was another story. I think the only thing he feared that day was how it would affect him.

Thank You so much Sinead for filming and giving great commentary as you walked through the iconic places Princess Diana loved most in London. She was our Princess and such a shame Her life ended the way it did. She will never be forgotten.

Still in awe of people’s fascination with her

That was lovely to watch. I'm going to try both restaurants. Set lunch at Lunch at Launceston's and weekend brunch buffet at the Bombay Brasserie. Don't forget Diana's cafe in Holland Park opposite Kensington Palace gates where she often popped in for a full English breakfast. Quite reasonable and full of photos of Diana.

I loved this video. Thank you Sinead. I remember her wedding very well, even though I was only 4 years old. Her gown was everything. My mom made me a gown that looked just like Diana's flower girls, when I was a bridesmaid. I think we still have it.

I've been obsessed with the Crown (American BTW) and was searching for truth comparison videos, and I somehow stumbled across yours. I was actually named after the late Princess, I was born on July 30th 1981, so my mom labored watching the wedding. Oh, I basically did this exact tour when I went in September I even went to the Saint Mary’s steps! Kensington, Saint Paul’s, thanks to you, the Diana café, and so many other spots. You were so inspiring and lead up to our trip trip so thank you so much for all that you do. I was able to go see the boats by that outdoor place near Notting Hill and I can’t think of it now. The one with the stadium seating.

Yay!!! Thank you for doing this! I loved her sooo much watching her when I was little! So beautiful! I was ten when she died and her death was one of the first female public figures I ever saw and was truly moved by. I think of her still! I imagine her dancing to some 80s music and smiling and happy in a better place. ❤

I remember being in a hospital waiting room while my daughter was in labor. There was a TV in the room and the news report came on stating that Diana had been involved in a car accident. After my granddaughter was born, I left the hospital and went home. I remember how shocked I was to find that Diana died between the time I left the hospital and the time I arrived home.

I have grown so far away from her fairytale wedding that slowly eroded due to she and Charles not being compatible. I don’t know why they got married so quickly because it was doomed to fail. Big age differences, big differences in interest all lead to the big break up. And without the royal family association she never would’ve achieved fame on her own. And so she should’ve been grateful to the RF for that. At times she lacked common sense and she was reckless with her own security the night she died. Dodi didn’t provide the right group to protect her.

No wonder she was so paranoid in the Bashir interview. He faked documents and lied about people betraying her. She sounded crazy at the time, but it makes a bit more sense now. Thank you Sinead for the tour. I've heard of dome of these places so I've enjoyed doing the walk with you.

I think a better statue of her would have been if they had taken the photo of the trip she took the boys on to that water park when they went on the water ride and were laughing. I think it would have shown how down to 🌎 Earth she was even for a princess. Or they could have used the photo of her and john travolta dancing , or the photo of her holding that AIDS patient hand for the first time these were events where she was truly happy you saw it on her face they would have been magnificent statues
