About Johnny and his lines...how could you forget to mention that it was Johnny himself that improvised the famous "I got a jar of dirt I got a jar of dirt I got a jar of dirt and guess what's inside it!?" and how he also fell down the deck of the boat by actual accident! Orlando's and Keira's surprised expressions are therefore genuine.

Regarding 43:58 we all now know why he was late a lot on that movie, his abusive wife would freak everytime he left, he was numbing himself with medications & we also now know how he lost his finger. Sad to think that everybody just thought he was partying, taking drugs and living a rockstar lifestyle while in reality he's being abused physically, emotionally and psychologically by his awful ex-wife. Definitely a good lesson to learn not to judge a book by it's cover because you never know what's going on behind closed doors.

I’m sure most had no idea what he was going through. Unfortunately, it all had to play out in front of us all. He is vindicated! And I do believe The Mouse wants to give him anything he wants to come back into the fold.

They are foolish enough to not explore the 'prequels' too! look at how much of the sets they had built! use them up fully! i would be down to see Davy jones prequel, that centers on him becaming the tentecle monster... Jhony getting his hat and compas and becaming a captain, Even Barbosas betrayel of Jack for the Pearl and for the tresure of the first movie! They can still capitilise their props and shit out atleast 2 more movies, and they wont feel repetetive.

I don't know , I told Disney that if they wanted a glimmer of hope for the franchise that they had to find someone who looked and sounded enough like Johnny Depp . They achieved that by finding two different people , one for the screen and the other to speak for him.. We shall see where it leads.

I am lost for words !!! These films must have been such a physical and mental demand on all: actors, producers, extras etc not to mention time spent with each actor in the make up (some 3 plus hours each time !!). I am not surprised that Johnny was nincredibly exhausted after full days of work and would easily collapse into a well deserved sleep as soon as actiung was finished for the day.

I love all of Johnny Depps movie's, but him as Jack Sparrow in Pirates of the Caribbean was excellent, great movie, it wouldn't be the same if they make another one without Johnny Depp playing that role, he made the movie, great actor. Justice for Johnny. 💯

NEVER would have been the hit and franchise without Depp in the lead.

One of the greatest things about Johnny Depp is that he is not sold out! He has never played a Marvel or DC superhero!!! He makes real blockbuster movies and doesn't need to have superhuman powers to be a superstar in Hollywood! And he's been doing it since the '80s. 👏👏👏

Johnny is the only reason I watched Pirates of the Caribbean. I even dressed up as a Pirate when it first came out at the theater I worked for. He is a GREAT actor.

That really says it all and I think it really hurt Johnny that they did it just 2 or 3 days after the op ed Amber Turd wrote was in the Washington Post ~ didn't even do a sit down with him to discuss, just dropped him. To be fair though he did hold up the production tons by constantly being late, and then the long delay due to the tip of his finger getting cut off by that psycho during PofC5 had an impact as well. Though had they bothered to talk to Johnny, they may have realized as I do that he was dealing with an unstable maniac at home,(who only exacerbated his addictions- who can blame him! )had he shared what was really going on, who knows maybe it would've made a difference, maybe it wouldn't of. Amber wrote that trash in 2016 - the height of the Me Too movement - purposely to further her own career whilst hammering the nail so to speak in his career. She knew at that time she'd have tremendous backing and no one at that time would dare question her allegations. She is cunning, manipulative & calculating that's for sure. I don't think she thought JD would ever go public with the truth. "Go ahead, tell the world Johnny, that I, Johnny Depp, a man, I too am a victim of domestic violence & see who believes you" The best part thank God is those words she spoke to him were recorded for all to hear. That really drove it home to me, what a pathological LIAR that woman is, not to mention NASTY. WHO takes a dump on somebody's bed, where they sleep?! She's disgusting and She's the ABUSER. Major miscalculation on her part that Johnny would stay quiet, I truly believe that a big reason he's suing her is because of his children as well and what they had to go through because of her. I can't wait till this is finally over for him and a great sense of peace & serenity can envelope him & he can heal from all this madness. He'll get that no matter the outcome as he'll finally be rid of her once and for all. He DESERVES it. I have no doubt he will go forward to live an incredibly successful life. Amber, on the other hand will have to lay in the bed she made, to bad she sh*t in it ~ it's going to be a rather crappy life for her for quite some time to come - and she DESERVES that outcome 100%!

The practical effects make this movie a joy to watch and a timeless film. Overuse of CG just can't make a movie timeless. Davy Jones was damn impressive though.

I didn't realise so many things from 4th and 5th actually were props and not CGI (or a mix of both). That's very nice. Also, about Johnny being late and injured, now we all know damn Amber Turd was the cause of that mess.... Justice for Johnny!

Dizzy couldn't afford to make any more Pirates films. These were wonderful expensive cast costumes and sets. That's my opinion.

There should be two distinct Oscar categories for practical and CGI effects. And both should have been won by Dead Man's Chest, with the way the Dutchman was built and Davy Jones's crew respectively.

I have so much more respect for these movies than I already did before! Wow how amazing to see all this behind the scenes and hard work that goes into making these movies. Johnny Depp carries all these movies 100%. If they plan to continue these movies without Johnny, then I’m not watching them. Also, I don’t even know if Johnny would go back to Disney even if they asked him to.

Johnny Depp is the Pirate of the Caribbean, and a master of his craft. If there's no Johnny in the next one it'll sink to the bottom of the deepest depths. #justiceforJohnny

I have emmensly enjoyed all of Johnny Depp's movies, but I've got to say Sleepy Hollow is in the top of my Favorites, His character in that movie was fun to watch. As a victim of a toxic narcissists abuse I fully get the gaslighting, demeaning barrage of verbal slandering, my heart is filled with sadness towards him and it is my hope that he mends both mentally and emotionally and has the peace in his Soul he is much deserving of. He gave so much of himself to others, it is my heartfelt desire that he receives many Blessings in return. Don't give up Johnny, persevere ! You are admired, and have my respect 💕

Barbossa turns to look at him, and just before he can fire off a pithy quip, the scene cuts. I can only imagine what he said.

Just like how I feel like Tony Stark was meant to be played by Robert Downey Jr., even Deadpool by Ryan Reynolds.. Johnny Depp was meant for Jack Sparrow, you almost feel like these roles were written for them.. as a matter of fact they all added bits of themselves to these characters so it’s certainly very interesting how much they connect with their characters!

Say man, Johnny's performance is higher than Top Notch! I mean of course we can't forget everyone else who had the most obscure roles. The locations are what bring the movie to a beyond life, yet totally real feeling watching it all come together. I cannot give enough praise for the WHOLE production. It makes my adrenaline rush like the biggest, best bungee jump location.

This is just the start of it. My family is friends with a few actors from the films and they tell stories of some of the scenes and it’s crazy how in depth they went into a single scene

No one should be replaced by another people in this set. All of them is best of the best. The cast, The Production House, The Extras. Wow... Such a beautiful to see. Adding some new character was okay, but Johnny Depp as the main character and other cast can't be replaced.

Even after all these years i still laugh at the scene where jack sings «i got a jar of dirt, i got a jar of dirt! And guess what’s inside it!» xd

Wow!! I'm definitely having Captain Jack Sparrow withdrawls!! This is a superb tribute to Johnny Depp, the Greatest Actor Of All Time!! I have so much more respect for how hard he worked in this behind the scenes Video. Johnny never stepped out of Character, he truly loved being Captain Jack Sparrow. He gave more than expected with his humour and the way he carried himself as a Pirate ♥️

If ever a movie should have gotten an Oscar it should have been these movies

First time, I saw JD as Captain Jack Sparrow, I was blown away. I remember him in the TV series, 21 Jump Street. I did enjoy his movies but never truly appreciated his acting skills. The man is a legend.

Depp was the reason I wanted to watch this movie.

There is never going to be another Jack Sparrow. It is quite sad for us the public to say good bye to our beloved and wonderful pirate, Johnny Depp. So talented to create such a hilarious and fun character!! "Our" Jack will be forever in our hearts.🎉🎉🎉🎉 .

Johnny Depp will forever be Captain Jack Sparrow. There will never be another. We even named our son Jackson in homage to Jack Sparrow. I hope that one day we will see our captain Jack return but he’s made it very clear he won’t return. I can’t help but believe it’s because he felt betrayed by Disney by them letting him go during the hardest and most traumatizing time of his life when he needed people behind him the most.

I know JACK, he is bullheaded, and will totally ruin any one elses acting career if johnny doesn't work him. I cant imagine anyone else doing it. I shall stay on Johnny's sinking ship, rather that watch JACK SPARROW die like that. Who knows, though JACK has come back from Daveys locker before. Johnny learned alot from Jack.

Agree with you 100%. Johnny Depp, IS the only Jack Sparrow!! I would love to see him in a new series something like The Clash Of The Titans.. made by someone else who is not Disney. I believe Johnny Depp is about to go on a whirlwind trip of a career. Now that the world sees some of what happened to him his redemption is near. The Google searches (I don’t use it but tons of people do) and people watching his movies as a result of this defamation lawsuit has to be off the charts! I think his movies in his second half of his life will be just as good as the first half.

Hands down…There is no other Jack Sparrow. It is Johnny Depp 💯%.

The amount of practical effects that went into this movie amazes me. I had no idea all of this was done practically!

And "Curse of the black pearl" will always be the best movie out of all 💯❤

Cant imagine another potc film without johnny depp as captain jack sparrow. They might as well kill off the character instead of replacing him. Hopefully johnny depp fans truly refrain from paying to watch future potc movies so that johnny gets his justice for being fired due to false accusations. Love you Johnny ❤

I know I won't watch any more if he's not in it.

But Johnny's art was PERFECT !!!

So that's the reason why I enjoy this series of movies so much.

Love these movies so much! It wouldn’t have been so amazing without Johnny Depp! The rest of the cast are great as well! The entire cast and crew did an amazing job, giving us an awesome series of Pirate’s movies!

I love the last film but when it showed Jack's backstory on how he got compass I was so confused. He got it from Tia Dalma but in the last movie, it was given to him by his captain. Now I know they messed that up because it was a new director. They should've paid more attention to the other movies. At least it was a good movie. I won't watch the upcoming Pirates of the Caribbean if Johnny is not there. And they better fire Amber from Aquaman too for being a liar.

There seems to be walking goal posts for the compass.. While they show him getting it, it's suggested that it was to be answered as to how that actually occured in the 6th movie had it gone ahead with production as originally intended. All the plot holes in it's regard would be filled properly. Initially it was presumed that she ends up giving it to him because he ended up losing it at some point afterwhich. However it's also suggested that he was given it indirectly by her and she later shows how she made that happen. Either way, there are potential solutions to that confusing aspect. Frankly, Any 6th movie must has johnny depp, keira, olando, bill nighy, considering how the end credits of the last one go, not to mention the obvious other cast members required. Considering the implications of the trident and it was hinted at that calypso would make a return due to davy jones revenge. Actually if i recall one of the podcasts or something was that "Pirates of the Caribbean: Davy Jones's Revenge" was a potential title for a movie.

@@SpectrumTwist that makes more sense. I remember some Disney comics would come in the mail when I was little. They always had a little Jack Sparrow story. I remember one of them showed how he got the compass. He saved Tia Dalma and in return, she gave him the compass. In the movie, she said she gave him the compass too. Then another time I read she gave him the compass and he gave it to his Captain. And then the day the captain died he gave it to Jack. Now we will never know :( Unless they do the 6th movie of Davy Jone's Revenge.

Not only Davey jones as a returning evil, but also have references to how the world has changed now all the curses are broken. I personally would love to see some more brutal pirates of actual history employeed if they must first do a pirates movie without Depp. A big one I would pick to be a villain…brutal historical murderous pirate Ned Low, who could work as an interesting villain if you add in some of his historical traits(man killed married men and any women aboard his ship). His historical specific rules and codes might make for him having an agenda, a brutal thug and killer who rose to a position of pirate lord, but was cast out and decided to make his own varient of the code, giving him the power and personal authority to form his own fleet to challenge them. From there he could be a solid antagonistic threat to the protagonists and the Royal Navy. A sign that this golden age is starting to come to an end. The libertarian mindset and power of pirates is being usurped by violent criminals like low, and the navy are increasing their power. Plus with the curses broken, now the great threats of divine retribution for toying with powers beyond mortal means are not applicable. Jack is powerful and skilled, but now immortality is cheap, power is cheap, and jones can just come back as he wills to call some dread leviathan to reset the cosmic balance how he so chooses. And greed and power lust have blinded to many to the coming peril that will likely destroy them and everyone.

Disney owes Johnny Depp for the success of the Pirates films! His portrayal of Jack Sparrow MADE the movies and that was Johnny's doing!!!! The fact Disney gave in to cancel culture before all the facts were in! Shame on them!!!!

The movies themselves awesome, but imagine the adventures the actors got to go on going to all these places to film

For as much as Johnny Depp puts his heart and soul into the development and portrayal of his characters with all of his artistic genius, he should have a collection of Oscars. It is outrageous he hasn't won any, not one damn one!
