I really enjoy these back to basics videos. I’m not a 10 step person so these keep me in line with product updates. Thank you! 🌷
you guys make watching skincare videos entertaining and not boring
The most loved dermatologist on KZread for me. Always great and authentic information. Keep growing! ❤
My two favorite doctors ❤️ You told us so much information and definitely made and still making such a hug impact. Thank you for everything!
Thanks for sharing such an easy skincare routine. It's refreshing to see options that don't involve expensive products. We appreciate you taking the time to educate others on natural remedies.
Thank you for doing a video for people with „normal“ skin. And I have to say I am so impressed that you just give us a PDF of the routine, seriously thats so nice and amazing because you have all the information in one vue. And on top it is free? Amazing thank you very much!
You guys make my day when I watch your videos - refreshing, informative, funny, and not too long! Not sure if I have seen you review the Alastin Sunscreen. It is more of the splurge (but I use a discount code), but it is like skin care and sunscreen in one. Absolutely love it even more than the Elta MD! Thanks for keeping us up to date on all things skin!
You guys rock. Super helpful, relatable and fun. Thanks for helping us out!
Thank you for the recommendations!! I so appreciate an honest review. I like simple, effective routines and this guidance saves me a ton of research time. I don't have a medical degree, an no intention to do so. Having these simple explanations helps me to not have to read every ingredient and know what it's supposed to do.
LOVE as always! Are you guys going to do an ultimate skin care routine for dry/sensitive skin? I think that's the only skin type I haven't seen in this series and thats my skin
I can't thank you enough for the insightful video! I wanted to share a personal experience regarding red light therapy for anyone on the fence about it. At 46, I've been using a red light therapy panel from Future Form Official, which my dermatologist recommended for my skin's complexion and wrinkles. The panel is incredibly affordable, and the results have been outstanding. My skin's texture has improved dramatically, and I've noticed a significant reduction in fine lines and wrinkles. Interestingly, people often mistake me for being much younger now! There’s a lot of scientific research backing red light therapy, so it's not just a trend. Thank you again for your valuable content, it really helps make informed skincare decisions!
The budget skincare routine you described has been my routine for 2 years now! I started off as a dry skin person but with consistency my skin has become normal. I will say that since elf discontinued the Happy Hydration moisturizer I was a little skeptical about the Holy Hydration with SPF but the fact that you guys recommend it, makes me really confident in my choice. TY!
Dr Shah, I literally stopped breathing when you said that. Please don’t scare us like that again 😅 We love both of you too and are grateful for all the knowledge you share! Learned so much and my self-care routine continues to evolve thanks to both of you ❤
I love that retinol from Paula’s choice! I’m on my second bottle and definitely will keep repurchasing.
I love that you both say “pro-aging”!!! This is what we need more of! Positive reinforcement for the gift of aging, aging needs a re-brand rn
Been waiting for this, thank you!!
Thank you to both Dr! Really appreciated this and always enjoy your channel!
I tried to go back and look at past videos and don't think you did it, but I desperately need one of these videos for very dry skin!
Hi Guys Being a health professional myself I religiously watch your channel Thankyou for your input most of all educating me keep the channel going Thankyou
This is the topic video that I’ve been waiting on! I was always so confused on how many days to do what product! Thank you! Love you guys❣️
Love your content and we appreciate you! Thanks for putting out great information.
Love the download! Thank you both for being so helpful
Doctors, thank you SO much for this video. I’m 59 and interested in anti-aging care, but this was very helpful and I like that you gave us different budget suggestions.

You cannot beat a Korean sunscreen! They feel magnificent on the skin, so light weight and extremely budget friendly. If you have not used one I highly, highly recommend purchasing any one of them.💜🌞💜

La Roche Posay is really good for sensitive and dry skin. They have many, many good products. I currently use La Roche Posay because I've heard such good things about them, but I don't have dry or really sensitive skin.
Merry Christmas to the two best Doc’s on YT❤🎉🎅🎄
A menopause skin video would be fab. I suddenly developed really painful whiteheads that lasted for months and scarred. I also developed an allergy to sunlight, if I don't apply factor 50 every 10 minutes around noon on a bright hot day in the UK, I get third degree burns with weeping sores. I'm struggling to find a sunscreen that won't contribute to the whiteheads, can cope with hot sweats and can be frequently reapplied without feeding as though my skin is suffocating! I've learnt so much from your videos in the last few months, I'm really hoping for some help 🙂❤️

Banana Boat Light as Air Sunscreen SPF 50 really is light on the skin. I use it as a body sunscreen as I prefer a tinted sunscreen on the face but if that doesn’t matte to you, you might want to give that one a try.

I really do appreciate the facts you provide on so many products and especially what works best for all skin types. Thank you both and I have a tendency to pronounce like Dr Shay its all good sometimes I spell it 😉☮️
I use two of the products recommended here! The elta md sunscreen n the Paula’s choice retinol. They both are incredible :)
Thanks for recommending the elf holy hydration, I love it! As a medium-deep skin-toned person, finding SPF moisturizers that don't leave a white cast is difficult (although you guys have made a ton of recommendations which I love), but this one melts completely into the skin. I love it!
I am in my 60’s, but my skin is normal, so I have a simple routine, Vit C, sunscreen, Retinalhide & Retin A. You two make me SO happy, my favorite on YT, Instagram & FB, I don’t have TikTok! 👍👍❤️💚🎄🎅an early Merry Christmas 🎄🎁
Hey guys, I just want to personally thank you so much for the recommendation of the glycolic acid. I bought some only 3 1/2 half percent as I’m a newbie and I didn’t didn’t want to really get too stuck into the high percentage but yes definitely cycling that with the tone and I thank you for the tips I think it’s a amazing product and keep it up guys. Well done thank you
I've seen a lot of dry, oily, combination, normal skin and what not, but why on earth would no one make a proper day & night routine for sensitive dry-acne prone skin. I hope you'll do it in your next video! Merry Christmas.
I appreciate you both too, you've taught me so much.
That cerva ve cleanser that is Dr. Shah's favorite is the GOAT. it removes my minimal day-to-day makeup so well. Although, I don't use a real liquid/cream foundation, I use the Hero Cosmetics green color corrector and loreal 24 hour powder foundation. I usually do 2 washes with it. I love this, glad it was mentioned.
Love you two! Great content & fun to watch you two ! 🙏🏻🍀🌷

Another great Korean sunscreen is the Skin1004 Madagascar Centella Hyalu-Cica Water-Fit Sunscreen. IT'S AMAZING, I like it even better than the Beauty of Joseon and Purito one. SPF 50, pa ++++, hydrating but it feels like you're not wearing anything, 0 cast, silky texture, not sticky, AND budget friendly! Stylevana always has deals on it. What more could you ask for ??
Great recomendations. have ued some of them myself

I love that you recommend the ELF holy hydration moisturizer, Dr. Maxfield! I LOVE that moisturizer 🙌🏻🙌🏻
I would love a video about hand care specifically. I live in a very cold area and our hands take a beating. I have tried a lot of different stuff over the years, but only some new goat milk stuff has actually blown me a way with how good it feels, but it is expensive.

Hi!! Always love your content! Any tips for someone dealing with facial and scalp seborrheic dermatitis? Been fighting with mine for months now and can't seem to get it under control.
How do the Doctors feel about Dr. jarts every sun day mineral sunscreen? I felt like I was getting light sensitivity issues (wondered if it was chemical sunscreen related) and switched over… loving it so far.
Thank you ❤
So I love the Kiehls, glad to hear that you like it. Wondering about their spf formula? Nice to hear about Elf. I’ve tried the glow sunscreen one but not the others. I seriously still love Clinique toner with salicylic acid & Neutrogena healthy skin face lotion with vitamins and alpha hydroxy acid is really effective. Wondering what you think of Laroche Posey‘s tinted sunscreen Anthelios? I really liked that one. Also, their compact sunscreen is great for a under eye concealer. I’ve been using the toleriane double repair, face moisturizer. I also like the Neutrogena hydroboost sunscreen it’s a lightweight gel. I have two of those different types one of them is the city blend, and also they’re tinted sunscreen as well. It’s pretty good. I like the Elta MD, but it is a bit pricey. my new favorite products are deep hydration, moisturizer water gel. And the Vichy hyaluronic acid with caffeine eye serum is amazing. i’m trying to get a hold of the Vichy water gel sunscreen. I’m very curious about the Vichy brand if you know anything? I was also considering trying the Laroche posey retinol serum they have two different strengths. I’m curious of what you think of that. Last year I discovered the Bliss Drench and quench water cream, which is great any Farmacy , honey halo ceramide moisturizer is a great topper in the winter. I like to do a lot of layering. Wondering what you think of some more brands too. Like Clinique, Lancôme, August bader , Le Mer, Peter Thomas Roth, Sisley, Chanel, Dior. You know I would love to know if these are worth the prices? I’ve tried a few different ones and I really like them but I’m not sure if it’s really worth it? Also I adore Neutrogena, rapid wrinkle repair serum with retinol and SPF for face and eyes, I use the face serum every day.
We need a dark spots skincare routines video, pleeeease 🙏🏻
Please do one for dry skin!!
Oh you scared me. Don’t leave Dr. Shah. I want to tell you about UBeauty, resurfacing compound. I think it’s amazing! It has retinol, mandelic acid & vitamin C. I just love the texture! I apply it to slightly wet skin and it dries down perfectly. I’ve even used it as a all over body moisturizer. They have some other products I’d like to try. Love to hear your thoughts.
Have been on a weekday retinol and weekend glycolic acid routine for a few months now and saw my skin transform from rough and bumpy to smooth and I never had visible sebaceous filaments anymore. I still get pimples from time to time but are really small and only lasts one or two days.
Perhaps not the most relatable thing to ask about but… Tattoos. Should you (I) be worried about putting retinol or chemical exfoliants on them? Is there any impact? Separately, thank you for inspiring me to wear sunscreen every day. It wasn’t this video but it took watching a few for me to get on board. And I’m happy I did.
Hi, can you please review the mesoestetic hyperpigmentation range, the Cosmelan products and their acne range 🙏🏾
Very good routine but I think not very balanced, a lot at night and almost nothing in the mornings, I use the glycolic acid, then niacinamide serum in the morning followed by a very good su protection and at night I use a lactic acid then a multi peptide serum, then a retin A cream and sealed with moisturizer with ceramides. I learned from you 😊
