I watch a lot of fishing videos to pass time. And this one, by far, was the most entertaining. Just some genuine fishing with casual fun. No bullshit, no paid promotions. Loved it.

Keep coming back to this video, without any hyperbole its possibly the greatest youtube video I've ever seen. You couldn't write the ending - drawing in the series, 24 each on the scoreboard, followed by the dramatic reveal.. Be proud of yourselves for this one lads, can't wait for Carl vs Alex season 2!

When alex caught that rainbowtrout, it remembered me when I was in deutchland with my father we were fishing for trout in the nearby river at our camping spot. Not long after I caught an huge rainbow trout. Unfortunately we needed to let it go because it's an endangered species, otherwise we would have eaten it.

Great video guys!! There’s a similar series (great series) on KZread called 39 hours! They had a size limit where stuff had to be over 12 inches, I think with the amount of small species in the UK you could make it like 20cm and it may improve the comp? Also the bonus point could be given only if the fish beats the others fish by 5cm?

I normally only watch just carp vids but in the last week i’ve watched this, the scotland survival trip and your trip to the koi farm and they’ve all been absolutely brilliant, keep the amazing content going boys ❤️👏🏽

They went for landed/measured fish before time runs out, even if they hook on one before the time runs, it wouldn't count. That's why Carl came up clean and admit his defeat.

I cannot believe how much joy that you have just brought my life, I have a joyed every second of the video. Keep up the hard work and keep bringing them amazing videos to us.
