Love the Dutch people. I've been all over and they are some of the friendliest, kindest and most chilled out people I've ever met. Chuck in some monster perch and its a fishing trip to remember. Great video Carl.

Perch is my favourite, the memories when i hooked one with my tiny 180cm rod as a kid, oh those were the days. We love to eat the fish we catch but i don't bring perch home by principle, doesn't matter how big it is.

Luc is an incredible angler, I felt lucky to spend time fishing with him.

Another great video, Carl. Enjoyed it a lot. The scene with the shoes had me in stitches. Luc is one of the best anglers. Before becoming the God of perch, he was a super pike angler. He started out as one of the most prolific carp anglers ever. So you were in the best hands.

Your videos are absolutely amazing. Always a blessing when a new upload hits my frontpage! Only started picking up angling as a hobby about a year ago when moving from Germany to the UK and your videos basically helped me from float fishing all the way to carp fishing which I now do most of the time. Broke my PB today with a 16lbs linear in my local club pond, not the largest one but super exciting. Keep it up Carl! :D

It's really something else, one year our team in WPC had 3 x 110cm+ pike (estimated 25lb up) whilst fishing for the perch, they were sat around perch over 40cm 😳

Excellent.. the cold and miserable conditions pale, compared to the anticipation and ultimately success. Great feeling. Thank you for sharing your experiences

@@fishwithcarl Was some awesome Pike on those Drains too. You and Carl should perhaps consider a Drain project on the Somerset Levels, Kings Sedgemoor or similar, as it gets rare attention. Would make an excellent campaign for you two. Oh, I just got bought some Mushroom Grow Kits, so am finally experimenting, after putting it off for ages. Fingers crossed as they came from USA and will have to adapt to Manchester lol :)

Hello from Australia! Mate I love your content. I had one of your videos in my 'Watch Later' play list for months and I finally watched it and it was incredible. It reminded me so much of another KZreadr I follow and you reminded me so much of him it was bothering me. Then at the end of the video I saw Alex and it suddenly clicked that you're brothers lmao great video! I feel like I know more about the British wildlife than I do about the wildlife around me. I need to fix that...

It amazes me how entertaining your videos are. I’ve watched so many fishing videos on KZread but you truly tell a good fishing story in every video! Hands down this is the best fishing channel on KZread. If you ever come to Florida to fish let me know and I’ll do my best to point you in the right direction. If you don’t mind me asking besides a GoPro what other cameras do you use?
