Turkish food is the best in the world i guess. i was in china, usa, russia, austria, germany, france, italy, south africa, australia , greece, canada, venezuela, japan, south korea, arabic countries and malta. It is indeed wonderful to visit. But living in Turkey is another story. So the lucky ones are unfortunately not the Turkish people but the foreign tourists.

My boyfriend is turkish. We were in Istanbul 2012. I love this awesome place on earth. All the people are so friendly and helpful. I tried midye dolma & Dondurmalı İrmik Helvası 4 the very first time and fell in love ❤❤❤ My lovely mother in law taught me how to cook some turkish meals and it makes so much fun! Nice greetings from Germany 😊

I always have had great food and conversation in Istanbul. It's the first place I ate a fish eye. Sounds weird but it was good. Like many cities I have visited, the street food was so good. I also played a lot of backgammon there with men who didn't speak english and I didn't speak Turkish.

Turkey is super clean, has very nice people, and very good food. For a second there, I was thinking if that meat was pork, but then he said it was intestines. Can you even find pork in Turkey?

millionfish animation on muslim book eating pork is not good for them they think pig is dirty it eats his own dirt so his meat is dirty too . they think like that so there are just a few restaurants that made pork for tourists. But with thesevmeals you dont need pork tho. :D

When I was in Istanbul for the first time, I could not eat anything for 2 days, just desserts. I went to MacDonald's at last :D Shame!!! But then, I found the fish!!! :)

James that's what I was thinking as well. I want to visit Thailand but I'm scared shrimp paste or shellfish will be used in the food and that I'll accidentally ingest it and have an allergic reaction. I won't have to worry about that in Turkey because of all the fresh fruit, vegetable and grain options.

@@speedtribejp not really. Although there are tons of dishes that are vegetarian, Turks like to add butter in their meal. However, if you travel west or southwest side of Turkey, you may have more options. If you ever go to Turkey, you may hear a term called "Zeytinyaglilar" literally means "Olive Oil Dishes" frequently. If you are a Vegan, just ask them if they use any meat and dairy to confirm the dish is %100 vegan. Chances are vegetarian foods are vegan if they are made with olive oil most of the time.

We Japanese love Turkey.I am Japanese.On September 16, 1890,An Ottoman ship Ertuğrul Fırkateyni was wrecked in the sea near Japan. Most of the people on the boat were many thrown into the sea because of the storm. Japan rescued the Turks thrown into the sea. Japan treated the injured many Turks who were saved. 69 Turks have been rescued.The Japanese gave the Turkish a warm meal every day. Many Japanese donated money to save the Turks.The Japanese loved and cared for the 69 Turkish people.The Turkish injury has healed.And Japan sent the survivors of the Turks safely to the Ottoman Empire.The 69 Turks were able to reunite with their beloved family and friends. The Japanese love Turkish , memorial ceremonies are still held for Turkish people who have died.

I have only watched the breakfast part of the video but I am really happy to say as an Istanbulite that this is probably the first food documentary where the foodie person gets some real authentic Turkish food in an authentic bohemian atmosphere which is so characteristic for Istanbuls typical restaurants. Most people land in either posh restaurants or some really shabby places which serve some really questionable Turkish food but Lades is indeed a very authentic place and that breakfast table just sums up the very essence of a breakfast table in Turkey. Thank you for doing it right :)
