Fun comparison. Of all the bowling balls I’ve owed & moved on, the Green Envy Vibe is one I wish I’d kept. When nothing else worked, it kept me in play. One of the best values!

could you compare the fireball p/g with the arctic vibe? both look phenomenal but i'd like to know the differences since the core numbers are similar and they seem to be cleaner balls.

For me . I love the og cherry vibe and on old wood on the burn it is weaker but jumpy sometimes. My dad got the ocean last season and I hit it with a light 500 grit abalone and I could throw it from 20 my favorite board for reactive and it got to 5 and it would just skid then flip and go. But I said to my dad if the ball ain't working next week change the surface. But I like the radioactive vibe because I love a shiny solid on the burn I can throw to the left and watch it come screaming back.

How would you compare the ocean vibe and Arctic vibe to the GB4 hybrid. Looking to get one as a step down to the GB4

Picked out my first Ball a few days ago, and chose the ocean vibe!

Ok…I got my Arctic vibe and after throwing it, I cannot help but feel that it is very similar - almost identical , in fact, in looks and performance to the dv8 turmoil “Tide Pod” ball. I very lightly hit my Arctic vibe using a spinner with a fresh 3k pad. It still had a shine to it, but quite so much as orb. It got through the fronts with ease (rg) yet made a consistent arcing move on the back end (diff). As soon as I threw it, it brought back memories of the original “Tide Pod.” Both have similar if not identical reactions for me and both have the swirling colors. They are very similar in specs at 15 lbs at 2.528 and 0.042 diff for the Turmoil and 2.510 and 0.042 diff on the Arctic. Your “Tide Pod” video was the one that got me to buy the Turmoil solid. I ended up polishing mine up with a light shine and it was money for me. I am hoping this Arctic Vibe can do the same for me. What are your thoughts, Brunsnick on the two balls being near identical to me?

They both serve pretty much the same purpose in their respective lineups so yes, it doesn’t surprise me that they are similar to eachother.

You may not want to do these comparisons and such but I have to tell you you're the best person to do it you explain it the best you have the best methods in technology and you are very repeatable

as soon as I saw the radioactive Vibe in the showcase at the alleys I've wanted it. but I haven't got her yet. I still have my Onyx Vibe, the 1st ones, and she still kills the pins no matter what line I put her at. the Vibe line they created is just freakin awesome and great work.

Man, I’m in trouble. I always messed around here and there with bowling never owned my own stuff until about 3 months ago. Im addicted, I have well over a grand in bowling balls etc. I have been in business for myself for 23 years planned my whole life around my electrical business. I seriously get depressed if I go a day without bowling. I think I need counseling 😂..

Been looking for a ball to come down off of my Bonus I'm still throwing (290 and 300 with it this past season) when lanes burn up. Considering the vibe series and watched your videos on the Kaboom, Deadly Rattler, Fireball, chill pearl, etc. Thoughts? One hand, no thumb with similar speed to you, higher track and rev rate (guessing 400ish based on watching your specto numbers). Depending on the pair and the opponents, I can go from throwing the bonus all night without moving, to having to put it away frame 3 of game 2.

That's what I had been thinking, then I saw your video and it had me thinking it would be too strong...then all the other new mid level stuff got me confused. I was going to get a bonus pearl when it was available, so the deadly rattler makes sense given that I believe the Rattler was similar to the bonus. Thanks Nick, been watching you since the smokin inferno days on your own site...still have one of those too, and will never part with it.

Where I roll, the pattern is 42-45ft, and pretty slick, so I have put 1000/1500 on my radioactive. I am speed dom, so yeah surface really helped me. I do prefer my new Effect over my Vibe. Id describe the Effect as a Asym Vibe Does the new Artic smell like marshmellows or something?

Arctic seems to have the longest hook zone, the ocean is the weakest, and the radioactive seems to have the most overall continuation and shape

Had a heartbreaker 298 with 7/10 split last ball with ocean vibe and a 280 something (don’t ask) and then it just died and never got lined up again. Put This new equipment in a baking machine, nothing ever comes out. when they’re done, they’re done. Most all of them wear out quick today but the Vibes wear out the quickest IMO.

It's odd having the hybrid be the earliest and the pearl being the roundest. Is that more due to surface finish, or is it something related to hk22? Any other ball, say the storm phazes, the solid is the earliest and roundest, then the hybrid, then the pearl being late and sharp

I’m wondering the same thing. I was thinking radio active might be my next ball because I’m a huge fan of the envy tour but it is pretty strong and I think it’d be a good step down. But this video has me extremely confused now. lol. They were probably still figuring out hk22 with radioactive

Has to do with the additive packages to the HK22. That’s where the ball reaction will change the most.

Do the B7 brands use powder to tint light color bowling balls vs liquid for darker ones? Seems I read that’s the reason light colors read sooner…more texture in the coverstock?
