    I did make a small mistake! Amaterasu DOES NOT have a one-way airdash, she can airdash forward, up-forward, and down-forward.

    Please do! I don’t have the fastest movement in the Marvel scene, I don’t Plink as much as I should, but I’ve gotten my wavedashes consistent, then fast, and now I tend to place fairly well in tournaments! Do your best! Let me know if you have any questions :)

    True! I found there were a lot of situations in making the lists where a character could technically do something, but it either wasn't useful enough to be part of the gameplan, or wasn't used often enough to mention. Stuff like Nova/Iron Man being able to air plink for example. You CAN do it, but why? Dante and Vergil I should've mentioned in that regard (I did mention Dante's DT giving him a triple jump briefly, but didn't talk about Vergil DT at all). I appreciate you mentioning this though!

    @@heefmvc You didn't mention that some characters have wall jumps. Vergil is so lucky to not only have wall jump but 2 way airdash and a double jump when devil trigger is activated. Great video, but a few things need to be corrected. 2:32 Morrigan doesn't have an 8-way air dash, and I think Dante and Vergil might need to be changed, as both of their Devil Trigger forms improves their mobility. 10:00 You don't need to go in a different direction or have an 8-way air dash to cancel air dashes into themselves since you can plink to keep going the same way. 11:23 You don't need to use 3 different attacks to plink; it works with just 2. I noticed that you mentioned the risk of a raw H coming out on a flubbed input, but plinking with just L and M will reduce that risk a bit.

  • @heefmvc

    @heefmvc

    Жыл бұрын

    The Morrigan thing I just got wrong straight up. I didn’t include the improved mobility of DT for Vergil or Dante because it’s an enhanced state, not default. I mentioned the 8-way airdash thing because it is true that your can’t dash twice in the same direction without plinks. Thought I clarified that plinking lets you keep going the same way later on but I possibly didn’t. I mentioned the 3 different attacks to plink because that is objectively the best way to plink, as it gives you the throw option select on every dash. I really appreciate the feedback, I gotta make sure I’m more clear when I deliberately exclude some information for ease.

    Watch Lythero’s Phoenix Wright guide, it’s a bit old but the information is still good. Your team has to be very defensive, you need assists to keep the opponent away. IHeartJustice uses Captain America’s charging star to push opponents away, and Doctor Strange’s Eye of Agamotto to act as a second Maya shield. Look into defensive assists to build a team!

    @@heefmvc Litty-go-bitty, my friend. I thought airdashing was universal across characters like wavedashing in Melee; you must get why I was confused that I couldn't with my boys Ryu and Akuma, that's why I checked this out. Wondered if they patched it out cuz I didn't know if it was intentional lmfao

    Would prefer wavedashing's importance be explained rather than just told it is. Cause without that knowledge it just looks like it's covering the same distance as the regular in about the same amount of time but with extra steps

    I probably didn’t make it clear enough. The point of wavedashing is that you cancel the recovery of your normal dash. That’s my bad, I should’ve shown that just mashing dash repeatedly doesn’t work because of the recovery frames it has.

    I am a complete shitter at this game and all I’ve done is play a few games of heralds and hero’s and played a ton of practice mode so i could be completely wrong about this but I’m pretty sure wolverine can’t plink dash. Whenever you mash his attack buttons he does that shitty claw spamming attack, and wave dashing is a little harder as him because of the same shitty claw spamming move but also because of the movement buff he has you could end up just using a bar for no reason. I have to put up with much more difficult movement in exchange for easy combo damage but thats a price I’m willing to pay for the time being.

  • @heefmvc

    @heefmvc

    2 жыл бұрын

    So he still can, but to my understanding you can't do it as fast, because then that claw spamming attack will happen. The wavedashing with him also has to be done slow because of his speed up super. Technically, the best way to move with him is plink dashing, but it's just tough either way. But yes, easy combo damage. TLDR, whichever dash you do with him, do it slower. Hope you're having fun with Marvel 3!

    This game makes me very depressed...I'm not good at many things but I really wish I was decent at fighting games ... I've always been casual playing this game YEARS ago with my brothers and it was fun cause none of us knew what the hell we were doing and just button mashing...now I'm a lot older and i want to enjoy this game for what it truly is....and I just can't...for the life of me i cant grasp the mechanics and combos of this game and i feel like having a fight stick is a must for these games....and I'm just completely lost.... I've been playing Dbfz since it came out and I'm somewhat ok in that game...nothing terrible but I don't have the confidence to play ranked either...it's just a shit show.... I've always loved watching people play these games and show off their combos to one another and I've always dream of having my own combos and show off to people...but I can't get the hang of it at all...it especially hurt my feelings when I found out Dbfz and mvc3 are the simplest Vs. Series type games at the moment....that just stings even more...a simple game and yet I can't do anything right...i don't want to be a GOD or anything...i just wish I could understand this game well and be part of the community...maybe make some friends and play matches...but I'm just too bad it's not funny...

    Yes your right a fight stick is a literally NEED but besides that man don't beat yourself up about, stop going into that mind set and think positive and grace yourself. You say you don't have the confidence to play ranked but u can do anything if u put your mind to it, plus you have to practice everything and learn the game first BEFORE U EVEN THINK ABOUT PLAYING RANKED like block strings, learning the terminology of the game, learning everything about your character and what your supposed to do, picking a really good team with assist to combo with, learning easy, normal, hard, very hard combos with each character on your team😭, rejump combos, teching dragon rushes, learning how to block probably, side switches, T.O.D's a.k.a touch of death, and learn all the mechanics of the game. Picking a good game is very important and another tip that I would give u is watch alot a pros, there is this dude name xuxes or something like that just type in dbz for and then that name and u should see him, pros know really good teams and I recommend watching my favorite pro and that's wawa because that dude is a BEAST😭
