I don’t want dual stick controls. I simply want C-Buttons. Therefore I hold ZR to toggle YXBA to be the C-Buttons. But everytime I want to change weapons or open a door, I have to let loose of ZR 😢 and if I do it wrong, I switch weapons when I simply wanted to strafe after opening a door. It would be nice to remap the YXBA to be the C-Buttons and map B and A to be directions on the right stick.

What about the Tribute 64 controller by Retro-Bit ? This controller is also a great way to play Goldeneye as intended, as it features the same familiar button layout, with the benifit of a more modern grip and a GameCube-style joystick

The Retro Fighters Brawler 64 (especially the NSO edition) is another good way to get N64 classic controls

Do you know how to adjust the sensitivity of the joy cons or analogue stick? I'm stuck on the train level because it's impossible to aim accurately with the laser watch.

You just swap the joy con in your hands from left to right, and change controller setup to 1.2 - easy and works well enough

I brought 1.1 with me into modern games, its called legacy sticks, and I can play pretty good against other people.
