Please can you confirm the timings for this strategy. Are the levels set between midnight and 8.30am or 9.30am NY time for indices? With entry only between 9.30am and 11am NY time?

I followed every step you took and it works totally not like you said it would. Tested it on US30, went back to as far as I could go in Trading view history with Pro+ account which is 10 april for the 5 and eventually 1m. The ChoCh isn't hard at all. Its even codeable and it might be a nice addition to my MSS/ChoCH comprehention but it in conjuction with a liquidity grab on these timezones does not work anywhere near something decent. I double checked evrything. Timezones, the backtesting itself. The fact that you already made the SL subjective when you did not like 3-5 pips makes it not mechanical anymore but I used that logic anyway to put it above a recent H/L. Took profits at a Pivot Point that gives a 4R+ which was your minimum. I would only enter during the Judas Swing timezone and the extremity FVG in the move that created the ChoCH. If there wasn't a FVG in that move then i would enter a FVG right after it... I did evrything guys. and the data is this: For a total of 17 trades we had 13 losers and 4 winners. Lets say we risked 1% = 13% loss, and the winners were: 4.16, 4.12, 4.02, 4.44R = 16.74% win. So in a month and 14 days you would have gained 3.74%. Lets say we risked 5% we gained 18.7% which is actually not bad but a losing streak of 20 would have blowed your account and there is no guarantee that this strategy will work in the future. There are a lot of factors in trading and these types of videos makes it seem like a 80% winrate is very feasable when in fact every of those videos are in hindsight and limited to only a handfull of trades. The wins you had where ofc 2 I also took and 2 of the total 4 wins. This strategy out of 17trades has a 23.6% winrate which is very very Low... Ask me questions about the backtesting via trading view "benjaminlombaert"

so you did everything but USE THE DOW JONES where its proven to work, you manage to prove is that this strat doesn't work on US30 thanks. This isnt suppose to work on everything LOL

I am back testing this on NQU2023 contract and either I am doing something completely wrong or it is not working out for me either. So far it has a 0 win rate on the back test so I would love to know what I am doing wrong

There are a couple free market structure indicators that show these although I think there is some variance in how they are calculated.

This is good info Garland, but can you backtest this using continuation trades? There were several examples in your video where you had huge displacement candles which signals continuation in the current direction, not a reversal.

Trying to understand why in the first example you didn't use the bar before the one you suggested was the choch ie 16:15 as it closed above the high of the fractal of 15:35 bar? 2. You mentioned in a reply below that CHOCH only requires wick and BOS requires close exceeding - didn't see mention of BOS in this is that for other ICT methods or did I miss something? Thankyou

you could also find these types of entries on the London open off Tokyo high/lows

Testet this really mechanical on us30 January and February 2023. 25 trades, 5 win, 20 losses, because of high RR barely profitable. Maybe you get some lucky months. But you have to filter in the end.

its a great strategy i use it everyday. amazing used it for 6 months now nice win rate and helps with risk management as i only trade one pair max losses i had i a row was 3 not more then that
