xChaseMaccini, Hi, Good Video... Like usually.. I have lit problem, can u help me please.. After a restoration of my max 90, there's crack paint when I rocked them. I use angelus paint with a thin layer of paint. I don't understand why...? U make a mix with angelus paint or U take the paint directly in the pot with the brush ? Thank's 4 Ur answer...

Tony287, how many coats of paint did you apply? How thorough was the prep work? Where did the paint crack?

Kenneth Thompson, thank's to try to help me.. I Apply 5/6 coats, with product "scratch and resistant" coat between each layer of angelus paint. Prep. work with acetone. Crack paint on 2 sides and rear. What advice can you give me ?

I just see you restore these 90s loved the video lots of great info. These are my favorite shoe and hate when they get to that point. One question what's the best way or how to you get the creases out of the toe box?

Thinking of restoring my black and white 90's, can't upload a pic to show you! But they are in similar shape. Drywall mud on them, too. Definitely going to be a challenge, and a dramatic change. Definitely be a pair for the portfolio yo!!!

Cool video, how necessary is the Acetone step? I've got 2 old pairs of 90's that considering how long I've had them are in pretty good shape, but the midsole (one grey one black) is cracking/showing white through and the white surrounding area has stopped washing completely clean. Is the Acetone necessary because it's too hard to match the colors exact and it's just easier to paint whole midsole or will cleaning and painting in spots that are needed not work without first removing old paint?

On the white midsole on 97's just to double check should i spray a gloss or matte finiser at the end? Also for scratched 97's bubbles was told to clean then spray with a gloss finisher and it will get rid of the scratches and bring it back to brand new condition true or false? I have a Pair of Nike Air Max LTD from I think 2011 Black with Royal Blue Accsents and White Mid sole I'm thinking about giving it a shot the only part of the shoes that are in need of restoration is the Mid soles. Including the Air Bubble I tried Angelus paint on a Pair of Nike Air Flight Highs midsoles but I think I might have not put my best into it and it just cracked and chipped away. Thanks

Hi mate, I noticed we didn't see you put finisher on the flat white in the video... Is that intentional? Do you prefer not to use finisher on the flat white? Because I noticed that the flat white on my 90's after restoration look pretty nice without finisher... Also, Does the matte finisher with duller make much difference to the durability of the flat white?

Hey @xChaseMaccini dude, I washed my 2015 air max 90's and I'm having issues with the black leather mudguard colouring bleeding into the white mesh upper. It's non-permanent colouring (it washes out), but every time I try and scrub out the stains from the mesh it re-bleeds (as soon as the leather gets even a little bit wet). Do you, (or anyone in the comments) have any suggestions ?

Hi, I need some advice! I got new air max 1, but they got soaking wet cause of the rain.. (shitty unpredictable weather in The Netherlands) I've tried to clean them, but when they are drying, yellow stains appear on the white mesh. How can I fix it? :( I've seen video's where they put them in the washing machine.. what do you think?

You should run them through the wash that will take the stains out and then let them dry in the sun for 20 min to 40 min depending on how hot it is where you live

dude I´m using a acrylic leather paint, and it doesn´t cover well, leaving some paintbrush marks, and seems like the leather paint removes the dry layer of the same leather paint...I don´t know what to do

Why does the original paint on Airmax 90's suck so much?? I love those shoes and have like 5 pairs... but every single time the paint from the midsole rubs off leaving the shoes looking horrible. And this is not happening to any other shoes that I have (nike or not) 🤔
