There's a small park in North Odesa (Ukraine) that is the home to the memory of a Ukrainian Cosmonaut. Cosmonaut Georgy Dobrovolsky, is considered by many to be a Soviet Hero & Ukrainian Hero for his efforts and bravery in Space. He commanded the three-man crew of the Soyuz 11 spacecraft. He and his two Soviet colleagues became the world's first space station crew aboard Salyut 1, but died of asphyxiation because of an accidentally opened valve. They were the first and only humans to have died in space. Join me for a quick stroll around this small Park in North Odesa while the war rages on to the East.
