Touching on ideas and musings that have been on my mind, all while walking through this beautiful, if a bit grey, part of Warsaw. It's a simple walk, but sometimes, that's all you need to spark some wonder and get excited about the future. So, grab your coat, and let's take a coffee break together.

Cheers Matey! Well it’s a rare day when I leave Politics out of any video. For politics shapes every travel destination- something people mostly fail to admit or acknowledge. More travel content to come and more coffee break insights to come. Hopefully will catch you up north next time I’m there !

Nice) I must say that I find Warsaw a bit too densely populated for my liking, although the old town is nice albeit tiny) Still its cheap esp as other EE countries have become expensive, perhaps this has something to do with joining the Euro? On you talking about your first client, do you think its worth working in broking these days (I recall you mentioned this in the comments ages ago), or have things got tougher out there?

Will be very unlikely I ever return to broking. The shrinkage in that industry has been obscene. For every 100 brokers employed when I first joined the industry I think there’s probably only 10 left in terms of numbers.

@@TheWonderingEnglishman Has this been a result of technology, or are the banks just trading less of their own capital & focused on executing their client trades instead? World definitely has changed a lot just in 10-15 years or so) Were you a very successful broker & thats how you are able to afford to travel as much as you do now?

@zatarawood3588 yes the Majority of brokers have been replaced by machines and exchanges. There’s still niches and many are doing well. Just sadly I’m no longer in that world. My political past helped end my career earlier than I would have liked. Travel has always been in my blood. I don’t travel to expensively and I’m always seeking out bargains. So in the same way a person may spend money on a night out in London I’ll just do that but with travel.

@@TheWonderingEnglishman I worked for a short time in the industry, but got caught out by crash in 09. Had to move on but considered trying to make a return since. Not sure if there would be much opportunity these days for me though. On the travel, I see what you mean about looking for budget friendly ways to do it) Ive noticed that EE a lot of places have got quite a bit more expensive relative to the UK, at least as a tourist staying for a short period somewhere & eating out everywhere) I like going to the Baltics which def. have got expensive for day to day expenses, funnily enough Poland which has one of the strongest economies in EE is still good value)

@zatarawood3588 for now Poland is still reasonable but I noticed beer and food prices have shot up in the last year. :(
