I really need your explanation for UAD AMS DMX Digital Delay ... it could be the Go-To for all delay situations...but I can't figure out how use it probably ... even UAD didn't bother to explain it from the ground.. :)

Oh dear, I had forgotten this one! First, I am not a member of the dinosaur family. Okay, when I began to do live sound a "few years ago, I had one of those but the real one, a Roland SH-101 I believe, I'm not sure. Just after you bought the darn thing, it worked okay, for a while but as soon as it reached its first anniversary, or the second... anyway, as I said "the darn thing" began to wave, the motor was just not powerful enough I suppose. So, unfortunately the effect is so devastating, the audience can hear it big time, but they're not knowledgeable enough to know it's not the sound guy's fault so ax soon as the terrible wavy sound was heard, they all turned around and looked at me with those eyes, the totally devastating confidence crusher look... all I wished was to disappear, no matter how, no matter where, just disappear! I was being accused and hanged for a crime I hadn't committed, and I couldn't defend myself, explain my situation, present my attenuating circumstances, crack a joke a two to lower the tension... and the 'darn thing' kept waving, more and more, increasing my level of stress, now in a state of complete despair and there was nothing to heal my broken pride and my joie de vivre, the digital delays would only be invented a few years later... You know what that meant? The reel-to-reel loop of tape that was supposed to work for me, not against me was too expensive for starting bands, so I ended up carrying my portable splicing block, the one everybody hated and making for my good friend the tape echo, stupid tape loops to feed the hungry beast, one of the things I hated the most in my life, in fact, when I saw this plugin thumbnail, I almost fainted! He he, But those were wonderful years, we had so much fun and not a care in the world, the last great wave of the bands, great songs, great musicians and as much gear as my heart desired, I just wish I remembered more of it! : ) Cheers, and thanks for your work, I've grown a little lazy so you save me time and energy.
