Mama anxiety is real - ugh! I had flown without issue for my whole life, but after having my first kid I became a terrible flier! Really anxious - even thinking about buying a plane ticket got me sweating! Then my kids grew up and now I fly all over again without any issues whatsoever. It was SO crippling for about two decades and then poof, gone. I love flying.

Nia I can understand that you didn't want the Petosium but why they wanted you to get it was because it's predictable naturally isn't and there's no guarantee for more complications without it rather than with it. Honestly they did you a favor. I know it brutal but you needed to get the girls out safely. It a great story! I had a hard dilevery I think I got the rash too but I was pumped full of drugs and my blood pressure went crazy high that medicine was brutal! Glad you made it through great story!

Do we need to label it post partum anxiety when a mother is cautious and protective over the safety of their babies? I think it's a mother's God given heightened alertness that others are calling anxiety and then numbing with medication. Please know mamas that it's a problem if you are NOT feeling protective, concerned, and worried about your babies. It is NOT a problem to have anxious thoughts of protection over your babies and a desire to keep them safe with fears and extra alertness. This is how we are made as mamas. It's God given and intentional to keep our children alive.

Why didn’t they do the sweeping of mucus membranes? That makes me so mad. Unless there’s a medical reason I understand, but it seems like they didn’t want to have a slow labor.

its so sad how they wouldnt do a membrane sweep….. it had nothing to do with whats best for you and babies but instead the money. they want u in and out to free up the room. awful how our medical systems hurt for money but billions to other countries
